- Mel| 1 replyKeep getting hang ups from this number
- Julie| 1 replyI have a Chase and Washington Mutual card. They are affiliated with credit card services. This is where the 866-875-8720 comes from. You can call Washington Mutual to complain and they will transfer you to credit card services to get your number removed. The number is 1-800-788-7000. I was removed for 2 months and somehow I am back on. If you want to call these idiot telemarketers directly try 1-609-233-7229. I hope they have not changed that number yet. You can not get through to the 866-875-8720

- Jan WilliamsVery mean and rude telemarketers. I feel like they are stalking me. They call me every hour on the hr. They want to charge my credit cards a monthly fee for a Walmart gift card.I sweet talked a guy and got his number because when you call this number it rings busy. So I called his business and I asked to talk to the manager and demanded to be removed from the call list.
The business was the career network and the direct line is 609-233-7229- Caller: The career network

- Maria AlverezThis mean rude telemarketer became horrible when I politely turned down his offer. He asked me if I felt lucky to be living in America using his resources in this tough economy.

- JennyThis is stupid. I answered their call (thinking it was a customer support from a service i was waiting). A lady asked me 'are you Jenny?'. I said.. Yes, I'm Jenny. She laughed (evilly) and hanged up..... Wonder if they are recording my voice and use it elsewhere......

- JimThey keep calling me then hang up when I say hello. Five times and counting. There should be some kind of a law to protect people from this. They shouldn't be albe to call cell numbers this easily.

- Fight Back replies to wtfisgoingonDo not confirm your name with these toll free numbers. Their goals are to have you say "Yes" to their recorded calls because the "Yess" give them permission to charge you for whatever services they are trying to sell. I suspect whenever you buy anything from one of this tvs ad or online offers that sell you one item and one for free, you are buying through a marketing agency which has a group of telemarketers working for them. They have address, name, phone number, and last four digit of your credit card number. And they used your phone number from this one purchases to make more offers to you. But they don't have to sell you anything, all they have to do is get you to say "Yes" by confirming to your name, then they can say that you gave them permission to charge you for whatever offers (they probably splice the calls to only record the affirmations ) and the offers can be dependent on which toll free numbers they happened to be using. The call can be the same person but the toll free number is different. There is a possibility they charge their business customers for each call with an affirmation and time of their call. Either way, they make money.
I way I fight back is by registering my phone number with the "donotcall" gov URL link. It takes about one month for the "donotcall" phone number to propagate through. Telemarketers have to follow some FCC guidelines when calling cell phone numbers. I add any of these toll free numbers to my address book, add a custom tune and change the tune to mute. Then I recorded all calls in a spreadsheet with the date and time of calls. I record all details (date and time) of whether I told them not to call me and what were their responses. After I have gathered enough calls each of them, I file their calls with FCC. - JenThese people call at least 15 times a day and just hang up. I just got another one and all she said was hello and hung up. This is getting really annoying really fast.

- bbbBEWARE!!! Someone called and asked me if my name was so and so with my address and I said yes and they said I would get a $10 gift card from walmart. For the following days I was charged several transactions from Great Britain, UK. Scammers!!! BEWARE!!!
- Resort Mgr. replies to JulieThe 609-233-7229
is not directly linked to telemarketers. It is my personal cell phone so I would appreciate you removing the number from your blog. I just got the phone today so maybe it was used at one time by telemarketers.

- Kill_yourself_800_ServiceShows up as "800 Service" on caller ID. Have been calling every day for 4+ months, even after 9PM. Sometimes someone will actually speak, that is when I screw with them. I wish voodoo worked, because they would all have rectal cancer by now.
- annoyedif tese peaple dont stop calling me im going to the nearest telemarketer and fighting everyone in there guys girls everyone stop calling and hanging up! at least let me curse u out first! get a real job
- FF| 4 repliesThey called me at least 5 times a day since April. I figured out they are just telemarketers so I ignore all their phone calls now. Today, one idiot even dared to leave me a voice message saying "you are not acting mature by ignoring all our calls. We are just trying to help you get on the do not call list but you are not answering. We have your cell number, your home phone number, and your address in xxxx state so you better answer the call and we can have conversations like adults would do."
OMG, is that a threat? If they call me one more time, I am so calling the police.- Caller: Unknown
