- jeffhey, i recieved a call also but didnt pick up
what type of call was it? - Darth| 1 replyI also got charge 94 off my credit card, I will also give them a call!!!
- Carrie| 3 repliesAnybody get a hold of these people? I just found a $94 charge on my card as well that went through today, saying I charged it Monday! Of course the number says it is closed....
- Carrie replies to Carrie| 2 repliesP.S. It is a grant site that claims I purchased a TRIAL subscription and that the $94 is the charge after the trial is over. No place did it say trial. But now they want me to wait 88 days to get a refund. SCAM!
- Jason replies to CarrieAnybody know how to get a refund for this [***]??? just got this $94 charge on my debit card.
- Arthur| 7 repliesI went to purchase something and it said my card was declined i checked my balance and no money cause i had a charge from this number. I am calling tomorrow and going to my bank to see if there is anything i can do let me know if any of you got your money back. kingpoet7@yahoo.com or Arthur@skynetbb.com thanks i will let you know what happens tomorrow.
- Mikie| 5 repliesCharge to my Credit Card 94.00 trying to get refund.
- Matt replies to Mikie| 3 repliesI just found this today that some company named "DayGrant" took $94.89 out of my bank account and another transaction from them took $0.76 out of my bank account. I'm calling them now to tell them I have no idea about it but I want my refund. Guess I'm never giving that stuff out again. Good luck to you guys I hope you get your money back and this company is exposed as the thieves they are!
- Matt replies to Matt| 2 repliesThis company is GrantsForYouNow. When you agree to pay the $2 shipping and handling fee, chances are you do not read the terms of agreement. After a certain amount of time, they start taking $94 EVERY MONTH! But unsuspecting victims have no idea how to stop it. You have to call this number 1-866-876-2778 and stay on hold for about 20-30 minutes before reaching an operator to tell them you want to cancel. And you can get your $94 back but you have to wait 88 days from the day you registered so its really [***]. I've definitely learned my lesson from this one. By the way if you use a debit card, the transaction will read "POS PURCHASE DAYGRANT".
- Kevin replies to Arthur| 6 repliesI was charged for $94 and didn't even know or go to any websites or purchase anything related to them. I am having my Bank work up a claim to get my money back as well as alerting my bank that this a SCAM and to watch for these idiots.
- Geoff replies to MattYup, the same thing happened to me. They are closed till Monday but I'm going to call them on Monday, as well as my bank to see what I can do about this 94.89 charge.
- AmydreamsI didn't even authorize the $2 they took. Someone must have gotten a hold of my checking account info. I'm rather peeved right now especially since I CANNOT afford 94.89 of ANYTHING. Actually, right now I'm close to tears. That 94 was my savings and it's been a really rough year.

- JHB| 1 replyI too have become a victim of this company. I believe it came from a request I made for information on how to apply for grants. The email confirmation response that was sent to me came from Lisa Fitzgerald, Grants For You Now, 866-702-6834, www.grantmemberservices.com. Maybe if this number doesn’t get you anywhere you might try Ms. Fitzgerald’s number, however I believe it rings through to the same exchange. Charges to my account were: $94.89, and a foreign transaction fee of $2.83.

- dsjones15I was not called by this number, but found it through this website. This number was incomplete on a transaction that I knew nothing about in my bank statement. This is apparently a company called DAY GRANT. I bought what I though was a CD to allow me to apply for government grants. That cost was $1.99 for the shipping. Based on what another post said they have a trial period and then charge you $94.89 for some unknown product or service. I my case this "trial period" was about 10 days! There is no mention of this on the site where I got the CD (which I have never received). I have called my bank and disputed this charge. I will probably get my money back, but I have to change my ATM card which is a pain.
- Caller: DAY GRANT ?

- kristenk2 replies to steve| 2 repliesI was also charged!!! Who do I report these people to?? I was charged $2.02 on Dec 24th and then again on Dec 30th for $94 frickin bucks!! WTF!
I'm going to call and try to get my money back on this tomorrow. It was closed today of course.. for New Years Day. Someone said on previous messages that it takes 88 days for you to get your money back??? - kristenk2 replies to MattThanks for this info. This is the number I have as well. I'll be calling tomorrow.
- kristenk2| 4 repliesIf you go on to the website grantsforyounow.com and go to the bottom of the page and click on terms of agreement. You'll read about the three month period (88 day)trial period that you SIGNED UP FOR... most of us unknowingly.... because who reads the damn terms of agreement anymore. Anyway it has a link that says click here to complete and fax or mail a form for a refund but the link won't even let you fill the form out until the 88 day trial period is over.
They also say that on the 8th day you will be charged the $94.89 charge to your account. They took mine in 6 days. The [***] thing about this company is unlike other companies that you order anything from... they email you letting you know what has taken place and give you a heads up and this GRANTSFORYOUNOW.COM did not do this.
I'm calling them at the 866 876 2778 number because I don't think cliking on that link is going to do jack..
I'll be back to update on what kind of an answer I get.. I'm sure it's going to be that I can't get a refund until after the 88 day period has passed. It's a bunch of crap. If I find anything out differently I'll report back.- Caller: Grants for you now
- MorganI too received charges from this daygrant place. I applied to receive more grant information and authorized a $1.99 fee for the CD, that was on 12/11/08. To date they have charged $0.02 on 12/11, $1.99 on 12/11, $0.76 on 12/23, and $94.89 on 12/23, for a grand total of $97.66. Never have gotten CD. I have called all numbers associated with these charges on my statements 866-702-6834, 866-876-2778. The first is non-English speaking and all I could understand is that is a foreign shipping fee. The last number has always asked me questions like zip code, etc... and then either disconnects me immedietly or I remain on hold. Last time I was on hold for 2 hours and 17 minutes according to me cell and then it disconnected me.
I have already reported them to BBB and am heading to my bank in the morning to dispute the charges and change my debit card.
Hope everyone else has better luck with this scam than me!
If anyone has better luck please let me know your secret!
