They keep saying they want to clear up a business deal with me.

This call is a sham.  Any "business" you may have with these people is completely bogus.  Your lender would contact you directly if you have any "urgent business".  Don't let yourself get scammed by these individuals.

And how do you know this is a scam?  I have a phone call at my office asking me to return their call and I don't want to get sucked in to something to this nature.

CCA Collection agency called me from an unknown number. this is the number they gave me when i asked they explained to me that they did not have a website. but they could give me an account number.

Called this morning, said have contacted for last few days, they havent,
said trying to clear up a dept from me and my Son.  Believe it is the bogus aes loan that also apears to be a sham, since he is still in school.

Called from an unavailable number and left me a message telling me to call back Andrew at 1-866-878-7684 ext 14163.

Christine Stall called looking for my dad on my cell saying she needed to work something out with him and my brother. She said she was from EEOCA and gave number 866-878-7684 ext 14154.

Got a phone call at dinner time (grrrr).  I'm on a do-not-call list. My caller ID recorded the number
877-611-1815.  When I called back, they identified themselves as EEOCA and an operator hung up on me
when I asked where the call originated. I told the next one I would call the Better Business Bureau if she
hung up on me. And this two days before Christmas! They were a collection agency. I think I'll pursue this to
prevent them from harassing another unsuspecting family.

I received a call from the same number today and he said he was Tony Cash with EOSCCA at ext 14815.  He was trying to collect a very delinquent debt and we should all him by 8:30 eastern time or else.  I am going to turn this into our Attorney General in Arkansas and see if they can do anything about these thieves.

I suggest you do the same.  Maybe if enough Attorney Generals are alerted, they can band together to accomplish shutting these people down.

That is the effort I am taking

I keep getting calls from friends and relatives saying that they are being contacted as I had them listed on a reference. Interesting thing is that I have LISTED any friends as a contact and I recently remarried and they are contacting my new family merely because of the last name. What is this and why are they bothering my family and friends. I've never heard of them. They are not saying what the business but they are telling them to have me call 1-866-878-7684 x 4231. They are giving them reference numbers even. What should I do?

I apologize. I meant to say I have NEVER listed friends as contacts. Sorry!

it is EOSCCA, the person they are trying to contact is either the borrower or co-borrower on an AES student loan that is delinquent

WHEN YOU FILLED OUT YOUR APLICATION FOR YOUR STUDENT LOAN YOU WERE REQUIRED TO PUT REFRENCES DOWN. YOU PROBABLY LISTED THEM ON THE APP 4 YEARS AGO AND THATS WHY YOU DONT REMEMBER.

I love this I thought I was the only one I got a call from Andrew he said I owed a large debt told me I had to go to walmart and get a prepaid credit card so they could take money out of my account I told someone at the bank and she said it didnt sound right I have never received 1 piece of mail from these people there is no website they dont exist thank god I didnt go and purchase the card this was two months ago guess who called my work today? EEOCA they called I told them do not call me at work again.  I did call the BBB two months ago and they told me it was a scam.I would love to get a hold of the people for harassment.
