This number calls 3 or 4 times a day.  I would like to know who it is.  It's probably a call center

Has something to do with long-distance programs, at least thats what they told us, we told them we were not interested and to take us off their call list multiple times.  Just today they called 3 times, i am not just hanging up on them, this is ridiculous...

puportrating that they were ALIANT com thanking me for their service, asking how the switch over went to another LD carrier went.  hmmmm

I called Aliant and they say it's legit. Apparently Aliant hired them. They're checking with customers and trying to bundle services and stuff like that.

I also keep getting phone calls many times a day, when you answer nobody is on the other end. When l call the number, it says Minex Worldwide if you have been receiving calls press 1 enter your phone number to be taken off the list. Then minutes later i receive different numbers calling, 1-866-432-3479, 1-866-258-3462 . How do you stop them its frustrating and feels you don't even want to answer your phone anymore.

This # calls us 2-3 times daily, we do not answer.

guess what? my name is not displayed with Aliant, i pay every month to have a private number and they still call me anyway!!!

Googled the number and found this page as the phone was ringing.  I didn't answer it.  I never answer the phone when I don't know who is calling.

The company name is actually "Minacs Worldwide Inc."  One of their call centres is located at Purdy's Wharf, Lower Water St., Halifax.

ME TOO!!!!!! What the hell is the point of paying to have your number be private if they still start calling you for marketing crap! I'm so frustrated!! They call at 8am, 11am, 2-3pm, and 7-8pm. Its ridiculous!!!

This is a contact center hired from Aliant, I work at this contact center, we are too call exsisting aliant customers and ask them if they are satisfied with their service and offer them new promos. I have no idea why it calls you so many times thats terrible :( but dont take it out on the person calling you they are just doing there job.

this number called twice minits apart. Just the number showed up on caller id. I wouldnt answer and who ever called didnt leave a message on the answering machine.

I too just started getting calls from this # - and like Annie B above I also have an unlisted #.....I've also received similar calls from 416-924-0280 - again another telemarketing agency - making me question why am I paying for an unlisted # with Aliant???

calln me too...aliant sold us to minacs call screen i hang up at the first word ! Especially if its from Aliant !!

Minacs is a legit call center. I know people that work at one of their centers.

I'm getting 2 calls a day from them, while I'm at work.

If you don't want to be bothered by a call center, tell them you want to be put on their DO NOT CALL list immediately.
