Penny, Yeh I got the same as you did the other day 10/30/08 and when calling this num I get: VMS voice box saying this is extension 50339 mail box full etc with no identifications. This must be a scam of some sort. Ignor it.

I am on the do not call registry and yet I still get these calls. I called back the number after receiving this message on my answering machine over 20 times in the last 4 months and after holding for 10 minutes a phone rang non stop for 10 minutes with no one answering the phone.

I have been getting this number to call back for over 3 months. The call comes in for attn: to my dead mother

call comes in early in the Am  with my name on important business matter and leaves a code then transfers to my cell phone and shows up as 419 .I  call back and get no one, happens regularly, very annoying. Reported to federal authorities

Here we go again as just got this Feb 2009 same I got back several times in Mov 2008 and it is:
A call from 8668894707 with a ref # saying "important buisness matter" asking for a call back. This is a scam as far as I am concerned so forget it but if anyone knows any more on such let us know.

They call and say it's an important business call and leave a ref. # and want a call back. When you call, they keep you on hold and you don't get any answer. This is scary. It has to be a scam. This is second call.

I called the number and provided the reference number. This is some sort of collection agency related to healthcare services. The rep referenced an outstanding bill that my mother has with a nursing home. That Bill is currently in play with AARP for an insurance payment and I was previously told by the health care facility to not pay anything until the Insurance company pays their part. Quality of the call was poor, and should not have been directed to my cell phone. Probably a HIPAA violation in there since I was provided detailed information about the patient without validation of who I was.

I received a call on 11/28/11 at 9:30AM  to call 866 889 4707 with a reference number which I will not list.

It was concerning an urgent message for my uncle who was in a nursing home and passed away Oct 25,2011.
I was his contact person so I'm sure that is where they got my number.

I am not calling them back.

Your got it right. My 88 year old mother is in HCR and has been since a fall on Easter. They left me a long collection spill on my voice mail so I returned the call. Could not undersand what they wanted but however they would not give me any info. and I pay her bills. I told the guy if you will tell me what this was in refference to I could straighten it out, but he refused so I told him I guess he was SOL.

This number has called me and gave me a code to call them back it sounded all robotic like they used a machine to type the call back number and my name...I refuse to call this number back it has to be a scam

Got a call too, but from this number:   314-529-5311  Caller I.D. said it was a nursing home/hospice care center.  Yet the guy on the other end was scamming for a donation to the fire department.  Yeah, someone from a nursing home would call me about donating to the local fire department.  LOL!  I don't think so.  I told the guy I knew the number was spoofed and that his call was a scam.
That number is now blocked.

Got this call on my cell phone. When I didn't answer,it went to my voice mail.Said call was for Jim P Waters and if I wasn't Waters,not to listen to message and hang up.How STUPID can you get.? Wish there was a way to stop these IDIOTS? 11-11-15

My clients are receiving calls from this number telling them they owe money and they are calling in behalf of the government in an attempt to collect money owed . ucb/ united collection Bureau, the names that was given was ,William Castro, the. Floor managerwas named Rick Salazar, and Deimer . they transfered me to 800-866-6228 witch is the real UBC office located in OH.they knew nothing about this scam. Always a mail person sounding with an Indian accent.

Possibly this group.  They may use off-shore or overseas employees.

They appear to be a medical bill collector.  Other sites show them to be really aggressive with a lot of extremely rude employees.

I began receiving calls from a healthcare collections company months ago. They were attempting to collect an outstanding debt from apparently someone who had my cell phone number before I did. I have told them repeatedly the person they are trying to reach is unknown to me and I have demanded my number be taken off the list and I not be contacted again. Finally, after about 10 times the calls stopped. Now I am getting automated messages from the above number telling me they are trying to collect on a debt and to contact the telephone number above.

CWG40 has given you the information you need to send them a certified, return receipt "not me" letter.  You also need to report them.
