I keep getting calls from this number. I've already reported this number several times.

Get call, #is not known to me.  No message is left to identify themselves. I bounce it to VM waiting for them to identify themselves.  Once they do I'll deal with it.  Would like to be able to block it, but don't know how.  If their legit, wouldn't an organization come up when an inquiry is made?

Debt Collection Agency, called for person unknown to us.  Kept calling after we said it was the wrong number.

Caller identified himself as Mike from ROF(?) Corporation.  On callback, person identified as Mercantile Adjustment Corporation

Called me at work and left message.  Dave identified himself as being with American Title.  There was some hesitation like he couldn't remember what company he was supposed to be.  Told me or my attorney to call him back.

call and claimed he is Mr Elliote. Asked to call back

called my home said his name was Mr Elliot. said he received a dispositon of a document and needed to speak with me for a statement on my behalf . or i can retain counsel and they can call him. i believe it is a collection angeny. Does anyone have any info on this company? or have any one actually spoke with someone from this company ? Mr elliott actually acted like he didn't know what to say

and McCallie (?) there is NO attorney by that name with
a law license in New York State. That did not stop dumb&dumber from faxing the information on
Mercantile letter head, then dutifully discussing their business with us on a phone line, where they verified
their statements not once, twice, or even three times, yup! D&D did it FOUR times.

I wonder if Bob Roth & Jeff Miller will make them
employees of the month?

My family has had literally tons of missed calls from this number - calling at least once a day - and never leaving msgs. Today I happened to be home and answered it to find out who this was - after answering the phone with the usual "hello" there was no response but you could hear background noise so after 2 more "hellos" the very rude person on the other end said hello this went back and forth a few times and I finally asked "what do you want" he replied "what do you want" I said you called me and he said "so" I then stated not to call back and hung up and he called right back - " saying yeah I called back now what are you going to do" I again asked him what he wanted and he stated he wanted "Tara" I told him he had the wrong number and this was the Burnes residence and he proceeded to call me a f***ing idiot and kept cursing while I told him not to call back or I would call the police and hung up! Who are these people???

A guy named "Mike" has called my parents and my in-laws, looking for my husband. They have never actually called me or my husband. We haven't answered the phone, but their messages are a little scary. They called my mother's house at 8am this morning.  We are going to report the number. I don't know why they are calling, my husband has no credit debt.

Some creep with a growly voice calling from this number asked me if I knew Andy Griffith. I don't acknowledge creeps or answer their questions. I'm sure Andy would be disgusted, too.

Called and left message with threat to contact before noon tomorrow or else. Name of individual was muffled, and no company name mentioned. Slime bag, don't hold your breath waiting for a return call.

Those THUGS send spam and Junk text messages too. If u received one from sender "4356" or anything similar to that IT IS them.

Also, they route their phone number to appear as a different phone number.

Same THUGS also monitor your phone activities to know when you are using your phone so they would call !!

This # keeps call our office. Harrassers who are rude and have no idea of how to communicate. Must be deadbeats off the street hired for a quick buck. Do not give your info to this #. May be Fraudulant!!!!

They call my number from what appears to be unavailable/blocked numbers at least four times a day. When I answer the call they either hang up or i just hear keyboard typing in the background. When the answering machine picks up they do not leave a message.

Can anyone post an advise on how to pursue civil and criminal actions against that mob?

This number called and said it was a time sensitive call (?). The recording said his name was Mr. Gregory and he would be in Monday through Friday, etc. Left the number. I assume that it is a phishing call or something.

This person named Auther Dent is calling looking for a relative........this man is skip tracing wich in the state of CA is illgal do not know why he is calling

I too received a call from someone identifying himself as Arthur Dent, who was looking for someone with the same last name as mine.  He never made reference to a relative. I allowed my answering machine to pick up (screening calls) Decided to pick up to let him know it was a wrong number.  He asked If I was the person he was looking for I said no.  He asked if I were their parent.  I said no.  I asked him to spell the name he was saying.  He did, it was no one I knew.   He said he got the number from their grandfather.  I asked for the name of the grandfather.  He could not provide an answer.  He became extremely rude with me and insisted I give him the correct number for this person he was looking for.  No matter how much I insisted he had the wrong number.  I told him to remove my number from his database and not to call anymore.  He said he was going to keep calling... I reported the incident to the annoyance call bureau with the phone company.
FYI.  He left a contact number on my answering machine for the person he was looking for to call. The number was 866-889-5222 ext. 8572
