I kept getting calls from this number and called them back to see who it was.  It is ACS, which is a group that calls on behalf of charities for fundrasing money.

keep getting phone calls from this number all the time morning, afternoon and night.

They keep calling asking for donations and I told them to mail me something so that I could actually see what the charity is. They said that they would but they didn't and now they keep calling and harassing!

They must call 10 times a night.  Thanks for finding out who they are.  Bacause they are a "non-profit",they must think that they are exempt from FTC rules, but it is still harassment.

They keep calling asking for my recently deceased mother, i had some choice words for them. As if I'm not going through enough, with the grieving process and all, I have these [***] calling and harassing me several times a day!

The company is Associated Community Services (also AC Services). They are a professional fundraiser on behalf of several organizations.  They are well known for their aggressive tactics including calling all days of the week and times that are not legal for telemarketers. I've personally received calls as late as 10:30 PM.

I hope the Missouri Attorney Generals Office and the FTC follow through on these losers, I have been called several times over the past month even though I'm on the no call list they fall through the cracks as being a non profit charitible group, they are already under investigation by several states for their business practices. ACS AC Services  or whatever they tell you their name is are a bunch of hard pressure salesmen and women looking to take money on behalf of people in need and then only pass on sometimes as little as 10% of the collections. They have bugged me for the last time without having me respond, I agreed with the Missouri Attorney Generals Office today to be available in court to testify against this group. I hope people read this and make better choices about where they donate and through what solicitors they do business.

I have never done business with this company, and I have asked them three times to take me off their calling list.  Got another call today.
So...
Charities who use this fundraiser, please note that I'm going out of my way to publish the charity list with the suggestion that anyone who has contributed to these charities by any means cease doing so because these charities raise money by using a company that harasses donors.

and for what it is worth, only 41% of the money donated actually makes it to the charity.  The fundraiser's overhead is 60% of every dollar
