Called me at my work. Could tell the girl was trying to sound tough, but was havibg trouble reading the script they gave her.

Left a message for our adult daughter who has not lived at this address for several years.  The caller said her name was Mrs. Rivera from QAR and made this sound like a legal issue, as she said for either our daughter or her legal representative to call back and gave a case number.  When trying to research this phone number, this website is the only one that came up listing the number.  Is this a collection agency or some sort of scam?

"Mr Sayer" keeps calling for an employee here at work. He is also trying to sound real tough and mean. That does not work with me. I respond to charm! So anyway, he has made a bunch of threats. Perhaps eventually this company will learn that threats and anger get you no where. Anyway he is demanding this and that out of me. I will repost when the sheriff arrives he threatened to send....to a company. Strange. Apparently he thinks my coworker lives here?

Says I owe somebody a bunch of money and I better pay now or they will garnish my wages. I told her to stop calling me and that I knew she was from a fraudulent company and she said she would continue calling me every day until I pay my bill. Then kept repeating "Pay your bill, pay your bill, pay your bill!"  Odd thing is I don't owe anyone anything.

She left a message (Sherry) for my husband saying that they are working on his claim, they give a claim number and tell us to call back or have his lawyer call her.. It is urgent.
The number on my caller ID is 1-716-204-0763, the number she left for my husband to call her was 1-866-892-4564

They called my wifes mother , and asked for an ex sister inlaw . Her mother confused thought they meant my wife and gave them her # . They said the sister inlaw was suing my wife and asked if my wife had an attorney . They called my wifes phone , left the their # along with a case # . When my wife called ,the tough lady asked are you sure your name is Nicole ? THE ANSWER TO QAR IS THAT MY WIFE DOESN'T HAVE AN ATTORNEY , BUT I DO . Would you like to meet her QAR ?

My sister received a call from someone who told her I was being charged for receiving checks overseas and that I needed to pay the bill or appear before a judge. They never identified themselves to her. I called and gave my "case number" and the representative had inside information on my social security benefits and an old debt with Providian. Said my check would be stopped until I paid them off. They told me my sister had offered to pay off the debt on HER credit card but my sister later told me they had lied to me. Anyways, I fell for the scheme and stupidly gave my SSN and debit card number to pay off the debt without asking for documentation of the debt first. I thought the matter was resolved until the next day when my sister told me the same number had called telling her I was being charged with a felony for bouncing a check over state lines. What check?! I called again and explained that there had been a misunderstanding, they were supposed to withdraw the money after my check was deposited. A Mrs. Giles assured us she knew we had no intention to bounce the check and they would wait until my check was deposited. I called Social Security and they informed me they never work with debt collectors unless it involves owing them or child support neither of which applies to me. I immediately called my bank, cancelled the debit card, alerted them that QAR was committing a fraud against me and ordered a new debit card. I filed a complaint against QAR with the FTC and will do so with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General of New York. I also stupidly gave them my debit card info to 'stop action against me' otherwise my case 'would be sent to the court systems which would double my debt after court and background fees were applied'. This is what Mr Cero/Socero/Longo told me (he seemed to give a different name every time he left a message). I later tried to cancel the payment and he wouldnt, stating that he has me recorded saying that i was sure i would have the payment by that date, and all he would do was move the scheduled payment to the following week. After that i cancelled my card. Now theyre calling me saying i committed a serious felony of bouncing a check over state lines. During all of this I had a debt consolidation company try to work something out with this account and QAR wouldnt except the check from them because 'they dont work with 3rd parties' and they wont accept anything but full payment or the balance split over 3 months... Do I really need a lawyer for this? Does anyone have any advice?

Caller ID comes up QAR with #716-204-0763 but they leave a different callback #. Threatening phone call concerning someone's social security number. Left 866-892-4564 to call back. When I called I got a nasty girl, who didn't want to be treated like a 'scumbag' her exact words so I'm sure she has been through this routine before. I told her she sure sounded like one. Very annoying , they have been leaving messages for over 2 weeks, same computer voice with the message.

I received a call from a "Mrs. Giles"inquiring the wherabouts of my sister who has lived out of state for several years.  She told me that it was regarding a court case and asked if I could reach her.  I was given the toll free number "just in case my sister did not have long distance".  I was also given an extension # and case#.  The only info they would give is that my sister was a defendant in a case and they needed to speak to her.
Upon giving the info to my sister, she was puzzled and concerned.  She knew enough to google the phone # as I just did to find this information.

to add to my ABOVE message - I was left a message on my answering machine just a little while ago stating that they were leaving a message "onca again"(in an irritated tone saying that I had been named as a person of interest in regards to my sister.  They left the same number as above, however, this time I was able to save the message and record the number that the call actually came from:  447162040993.  i am looking into how to handle this as i write

Called thiis number back and NORMALLY the announcement name of firm or comapny is mentioned. All I got was a hello and speak now.

I asked what company is this and the person line says you called me. I said the so called case number mentioned on the answering machine and want to speak to Miss Miller (LOL).  Was put on hold and this woman comes on the line. When Miss Miller comes on line I said what is your name and she says MELLISSA or whatever name of the day she goes by. I told her I dunno who you are but I am documenting every call you harass me with.  She says its NOT a collection agency and I said I don't care who the heck you are and said read up on the F.D.C.P.A.

received two calls in a row with from this number.  On my caller ID it is block. The message left is for a Mrs. Watson. I called them back at  the 866 #. To inform them that if this was an urgent message, they were calling the wrong house/person. The guy on the phone was a bit rude, and after expalining myself more than twice then he said he would log my call accordingly. (whatever that meant). Hopefully they would stop calling.

Got a strange automated call that said my name and said to hit "9" to get a scam artist voice to swindle and intimidate you......
I expect more and will be logging EVERY time being harassed w/ and whatever name they say they are

These ppl are frickin Hilarious but yet Annoying.
Keep the calls comin cuz each time u bother me it just makes a nice lawsuit I can counter right back in return.  So much red flags these dumb F#@k are doing they really REALLY must be hard up to swindle something out of you.
I am still waiting for this supposed thing they are talking about. So till then I do NOT acknowledge Scam Artists.

Dear Folks at QAR, I know its you with the automated pre-recorded voice.
When #69 I got a unable to reach the party that just don't know the meaning of CEASE AND DECIST. Keep the automated calls cause I just jotted a new entry.

Just minutes ago as I post, MELISSA MILLER had the balls to call my # AGAIN.....

they are calling my families houses looking for me isnt that against the law

I have recieved multiple calls from the 716-204-0987 telling me to call 866-892-4564 about a Social Security number matter for a person I do not even know.  I called back the first number that keeps calling me and complained and they hung up on me.  The next time I called the "supervisor" hung up on me after about a minute.  I called a few more times and the secound they answered they said "Do you have the case number" (which I refuse to go through the effort to write down and tell them), if I say no they hang up.  Obviously they memorized my number.  The only name for a company I could get from them is QAR.   I am going to report them to the SSA.

I have calls on my called i.D. from QAR don't know who this is? Also got a call from 866-892-4564 saying myname and that my social security number was associated with this call they gave a Acct # and said to call them immediately at this number. I write down the number called all info with it such as time, date and if unknown, tollfree call or what keep my own personal record. I'm going to file complaints againt this QAR
and going to notify this Consumer Attorney protects consumer rights against this QAR. Let's stick together and try to stop all these harrasing calls we continue to get. I get calls out side of hours also start calling at 7:30
A.M. and later than 9:00 P.M. strightly against the law......
