this number  called me  today at  3:05 pm  ( EST ).....i  live  in  ONTARIO , canada....

reverse  investigation   reveals  this is a  "  follow  up"  automated  customer  survey  call  from   ROGERS  CABLE /  INTERNET.....


i  did  place a  call to  them  the  other day............they  have  confirmed  this is a    automated   (  AUTO-BOT   call back  service  they  use  to  se e " how  happy"    you  are  with  the   customer  service  agent  that  assissted  you the  other  day..... etc.......

this number is calling to my house please Stop it

1-866-895-6005 keeps calling and leaves no message.
If it is indeed Rogers, I will have to scold them yet again.
Of what good is the DNC registry if the rules are so lax that almost anyone can get around them.

I have been getting calls twice a day every day for the last week. I called it back and it's a customer service servey from Rogers however when I answer their call there is no one on the other end and it hangs up. When you call is back it say's "thanks for calling Merit Research, Rogers customer servey" and then it hangs up...what kind of customer servey system is this if it doesn't even ask you a question? The kicker to this is that this servey number calls my cell phone which is a Telus line, not Rogers so I don't know how or why Rogers would give my cell phone out instead of my home phone which is a Rogers registered line.
I called Rogers, they tell me it will take 30 days to get me off the list - I told them it's calling my cell phone and using my minutes...they tell me there is nothing they can do. I asked for the number to the research company supervisor, they gave me 1 866 580 3635...this is NOT the research company it's the National Do Not Call Service - all they can do is take you off the list but it will take 30 days to stop the calls...they gave me another number 1 877 249 27 82 CRVC, all I get from this number is the option to leave a voicemail...what ever happened to GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

not only  is  rogers  pathetic , so   is this  so  called   "  survey  company".....they  only  let  the  phone  ring  twice , then  hang  up !!!!

what's the  bloody  point ????    it's a  robot   computer   dialer  anyway.........

I got a call from these guys as well..on a Sunday.
But I just don't answer any 800 calls. Call display is the best money I have ever spent..
I can also block up to 30 numbers with Telus..I'm at 29 and hoping I can get them to just let me keep adding new ones.
Cause even if you don't pick up, it is a pain to be harrassed.

All theses and similar calls are related to the African 419 scammers from Nigeria. They have the Serbians and Portuguese working with them in |Canada too. Dont answer the phone. My husband works for the RCMP and know they work with mobility companies, inside people.  Lots of Jamaicans and Portuguese too.  Dont let any of these people overhear you talking on the phone, or stand behind you at the bank machine. Dont even say hello, it encourages them to steal from you.

Harrassing calls

Are you saying I would be able to recognize who the thieves and con-artists are by their race?  So everyone who is Nigerian or Portuguese must be a criminal and I should not say hello to them?  You must be white....and since you are also obviously stupid, using your kind of logic I can deduce that all white people are stupid!!

And yes, I'm white also....and not stupid.  So your kind of reasoning is obviously flawed.  This kind of fear based hate mongering is half of what's wrong with the world.

This is simply a Rogers follow-up customer quality call. They want to know how the customer service was on a previous technical support call I made. They are harmless. No need to freak out. They are actually trying to improve there services... if that is at all possible with Rogers!

Même chose, j'ai appelé le service à la clientèle Rogers pour une information. Le gars n'as pas compris ma question pourtant simple lorsque je le demande à mon entourage... J'ai eu cette appel le lendemain et je n'ai pas répondu. J'aurais du répondre pour leur dire qu'il n'était pas compétent...

If it really is Rogers than they owe me a free iPhone, my current one has been a piece of crap for a year and it's only a year and a half old, all apps including the ones that came with it all crash right away and the battery dies 30 mins after unplugging it

its the scam the service provider pulls just to jack up your airtime use/pay-as-you-go

Its ROGERS doing an automated followup survey after your in contact with them for any reason , billing , service change , update ecte.

From these posts it appears to be Rogers.  I do have Rogers service in Toronto and this service has always been great!  Because I really appreciate great service the next time they call I will certainly answer and give them a very happy survey result....Merry Christmas and Good Will to all men and women!

People can have there say , it is not necessary that they are racist . It's funny that a white person agains a colored person is racist . Let that colorted person step into a dark room and insult me I will brake his or her nose, Racist is an insult to any one , regardles of the color of there skin I know  that a lot of colored people are racist agains white people because we as white people allow this to happen.  This happened to me so I fought back took it to court and this colored person was charged for a hate crime against me as I am white.. He lost I won. So there is justice for colored people calling and verible asaulting white people.
