Doesn't identify their name or what business/agency they are supposedly representing. First someone speaks in a threatening, demanding tone (sounds like someone trying to change/disguise their voice as well) stating "we've received a formal complaint" (Who is the "we" in question? They do not say.) "about (then they insert a robotic voice using indiscernible electronic speech to name someone I could not make out clearly but didn't start with the right letter or sound anything like my name at all). Then leaves this number to call back. For what? #1 - My number is unlisted AND on the Do Not Call lists. #2 - You did not call about me. #3 - (And most importantly) You failed to identify yourself OR whomever you were (probably bogusly) representing. Learn phone etiquette and how to properly leave a message. I am inundated with calls and emails. If you don't clearly detail who you are, whom you represent and what you want that has anything to do with me then you will not receive a call back. I simply do not have enough time to return the calls that ARE important as it is.

There has been a complaint filed against one person if you know the where abouts of this person hit any number on the key pad to talk with someone. The voice sounds distorted and disguised. Sounds very threatening. Needs to stop.

Just got call from this number with same exact message on voicemail. I have received countless calls to me and ex in laws claiming i owe a debt ( i owe absoultely noone and credit is great) and trying to get info on me and threaten me if i dont pay i will go to jail. I worked in fraud and identity theft, thats not how it works and these idiot scammers dont appreciate it when you ask to be sent a debt validation letter (which is required by law if you ask for it and its legit) and hang up. This is a scam number, do not answer or even waster your time and surely do not give any personal or account info

There has been a formal complaint filed against *NAME* if you know the whereabouts of *NAME* contact us immediately.

I have the same issue as above formal complaint, digital voice name. Blocking number!!

No matter how many times I block this type of call, it keeps coming through.

I have had the same call. I checked it out on hiya and it says debt collector scam. I know I pay my bills so they need to stop. And don't let them scare you I know it's illegal for a collection agency to threaten you .

I got the same exact message. I called back from a different number and they said the company name was CFS litigation firm and that I wrote a bad check to a company called EP Processing and they were now suing. They had my maiden name which I havn't had for 5 years, and other personal details about me from years ago. When I said that info was incorrect they said oh ok I think I'm speaking to the wrong person and hung up.

Yup its a scam dont respond they tried to get me to make a payment and couldnt tell me what the name of the comany i defaulted with lol dont respond (block the number)

Keeps calling with a recorded message about a formal complaint filed against Jerry Davis.

These scammers just called me again for the second time with an automated message demanding that I give the whereabouts of the person they're looking for. The message inserts another automated recording of the name. They also sound threatening as well. Apparently, they think threatening people will get them somewhere with me. I'm going to try and block the number.

Just got the same threatening voicemail. There should be some way to report them.

I am getting the same issue and frankly, these people should try to make a honest living.   I just blocked them from our phone.   Seriously a big waste of my time.

Got the same call compliant against you want the know abouts calling other relatives threatened I owe money harassing people you know.

Same as all the above.  Ugh!  Leave us alone.  The name they left was Helen Burgess - don't know anyone by that name but there was an old time movie star by that name.

Just tried to call the number back and of course, no company name stated. Went through the prompt and tried several extensions with no answer and a variety of responses from no answer and just ringing with a couple saying the agent was on the phone. Random numbers for extensions with a response that it was not received. **0 got the most hits. These idiots have to stop.

Called my father first, then my mother, then my wife all in an hour telling them I had claim filed against me and they needed to speak to me immediately. They had last 4 digits of my social and an old address..scared my mom..i tried call back and got v mail. Ive worked with customers who have fallen victim to this kind of scam(mostly elderly) and it can be frightening. Something needs to be done!!!

Getting more aggressive with this scam. I'm now getting called every single day from a new number. Same recording. Same stupid dude. I've never had a payday loan. Call everyone attached to me on outdated Spokeo information. Contacted Spokeo to have my info removed. This is BS. Friend who works for FBI says most work out of United States and hard to catch   Best to keep blocking the numbers, warn family friends and employer it's a scam.
