called for employment verification for lester t---- and gave last 4 digits of a SSN. informed caller that we had no one here by the name of lester, his name is leslie. caller insisted that it was lester and I informed them I would only respond to employment verifications by fax.

Have been receiving calls from this number from June through Dec '08. Leaves message on cell for "a very important business resolution, student loan, very important to call back, in my best interest to take care of the matter". No further info expect call back #. Three calls in one week no messages as to what this pertains to. Same caller every time and no name left. Steer away from this caller, give no info, don't call back. Also they have kept a track of how many times they have called me and mentioned never getting a return call back. Speaks in Threatening manner and raising of his voice (agitated) on messages left.

Keep getting calls from this number 1-866-897-6328 all times of the day and evening. It's a recorded message. They need to stop as they are coming in on my business phones and disturbing me while I'm trying to work.

WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT THIS!!! All my numbers are on the NO CALL list but that doesn't seem to do anything.

Left a message asking for my aunt, and asked to call back, even if call was made in error.  The only word I understood was "Professionals".  Pops up as Unavailable, but leaves a number.

Everyone, my husband is the most recent person to be harrassed by these people. They e-mailed my husband some paperwork to fill out with ALL kinds of info that they want. Our credit card info, bank account info, whether or not we get AFDC money from the welfare office, etc...That's none of their business if you ask me.

Their name is Wyndham Professionals Inc, their address is 380 Main Street P.O. Box 1048 Salem, New Hampshire, 03079. That's not the only phone number listed for them either. The jerk we've had to deal with is named William and he had the GALL to call our house and say that he knows that their was a recent tragedy in the family. (my husband's step mother had just died) but that this call was not about that it was for a important business matter. My husband called him back and ripped his [***] for calling and even mentioning a tragedy, etc. He wouldn't even listen to my husband about anything because he was going through his whole spew about it being a call to collect a debt, and on and on that most collectors do.

If you have a student loan that's in default, and you want to get it resolved, then I suggest that you call the original creditor (Fannie Mae, United Student Aid Funds, Bank One whomever you loan was through) and deal directly with them. Or call your local FTC office and file a complaint.

Asked for someone that does not live at this address. Said that "Francis" was calling from Wyndham Professionals and is working for the State of Rhode Island.

Fannie Mae hires Wyndham Professionals to collect debts on their behalf.  If you call Fannie Mae, they will tell you that your loan has been turned over to collections to Wyndham and will not even attempt to help you.  If you want to know more about Wyndham Profesionals, go to www.ripoffreport.comBest of luck to everyone.

Not a solicitor (No calls list only refers to telemarketers), but a collector. On sending them a certified letter informing them to not call us, the collector must comply according to law. Contact your state Attorney General for what can be done to stop the harrassement and the Psy Ops methods collection techniques. Verbal bullying, strongt  arm type attitudes to intimidate and coerce are not proper, in my book and also in the law books I believe.

P.S. One way to reverse the situation is to inform the collector at the beginning of a phone call that the call is being recorded for mutual safety and to stop any misunderstandings from happening. It would be best to really record the call though, it could come in handy when filing a complaint through the State Attorney and or the FTC.

The are a student loan collection agency that will attempt to get you to rewrite your defaulted student loan and in the process earn an astronomical fee that will be incorporated into your balance, and they will be paid in full by the government when the loan is rewritten. It is another way to screw the borrower and for the government to screw the tax payer. I told them an IRS garnishment of 15% of my income would be cheaper for me and the government and to not call anymore.

I too got a message but the  message didnt' make much sense.  Even if I called, and lied and said I was not who they asked for, they would still bother me.  I have a 15% of my check from work garnished already for the student loan.  I work part time.  I am doing the best I can, but student loans are evil.  I didn't know that I would be out of work for nearly a year, and then just to let go less than a week later and having to wait an additional six months for work.  They take nearly $50 of my check weekly, so leave me alone!

This company is actually a subcontractor to Wyndham Professionals - it's a professional skip tracer. That's why they are so nasty - to try and push you into revealing information under pressure.
