- lisanne| 1 replyrecieved a call from this company asking for a friend's husband......these people have not even lived int his state for 10 years! I told them they had the wrong number and the caller rudely asked who I was....I said "Who are YOU!?" and he got even ruder.
- ikidaThey just started calling my cell a few times a day, make you wait on the line forever before someone comes on to talk, I haven't answered and talked to them yet but they are eating my minutes by leaving ridiculously long voicemail messages that say "please stay on the line for a very important call" then as soon as someones comes on the line they say hello and hang up.
- DaisyI've been receiving calls from 866-989-3991 like 4 times a day. They leave no messages. I don't owe anybody and it's so annoying! This started to happen since we got a toll free number. Evidently whoever owned this toll free number owed money from all sorts of people. They are not the only one calling to collect money from us! Solution - I cancelled the toll free number.
- MadI have no details. It comes up in missed calls on my cell phone. It has happened the 21st and 24th of Aug. Since no one has a reason for calling me on this number, have no idea what it would be.
- pwdebbieI called the number back in order to tell them not to call again. He insisted I had to give him my name, I insisted I would not and requested a supervisor. He continued to insist that I had to give him my name, I continued to demand a supervisor. Finally I told him I was reporting the phone number (which I have done at both the federal and state sites) and he told me he didn't care and hung up on me. This felt like a "phishing" scam over the phone.
We have not debt either, so there is no reason to call us about unpaid bills.- Caller: "Allied Financial"
- HeatherI get at least one call a day from this number for the past week or more. Same story, when you answer you are on hold then it hangs up, and when you call back it makes you hold forever then goes to voice mail. I left a message telling them not to call, yet my saga continues. Any suggestions how to get them to stop? My cell phone company said they cannot block the number.
- SueSame story about the same obnoxious people looking for someone that doesn't live in our house, who is probaly in debt. I don't think they are phishing, but think about it the next time you let a friend put down your name on an application in the section that asks for "Name of someone other than family that you know in this city". So when hard times hit that friend and they can't pay their bills, [***] like the ones at Allied will end up calling you.

- TJI received several calls a day from this number on my new Verizon cell phone. I reported it to Verizon and they immediately gave me a new phone number for my cell. Verizon Rules the cell phone industry in service!

- JEddB| 3 repliesI have received numerous calls from this company for months now on my cell phone. When I return the calls, it's just a recording telling me to wait on them. Finally, I did wait today, and it was the same person I had talked to months earlier asking for Kelly someone or the other, and I told him again that no one by that name had had that number for at least 5 years, because I've had it that long. He hung up. I called back and asked for more information on this debt they are supposedly trying to collect, and he again got righteous and rude and acted as if I was bothering him and asking him to give me some illegal information. Who are these people, and where are they located?

- StephIt's the middle of February...almost the end. I started getting calls around.....November I think. They haven't given up yet...even though i know i have no debt....So we started pranking them when they called. Different people would answer the phone everytime they kept getting confused. At one time i had about 4 people on speakerphone. It was great.... Haven't been called yet today but I'm sure i will.
