Debt collection for past tickects, I dont even own a car

Automated message after a long pause says This is Allied Intersate...then someone answers and just says Hello

When you answer, there is no one there....

these clowns are trying to collect money for past parking tickets?  [***] them!

CLOWNS calling daily and no one on the line!  not sure what I can do..

I am on the "do not call" list so they shouldn't be dialing my number unless they have business with me.  They asked for me and wanted me to verifyt my address which I refused to do without them identifying themselves.  I want them to stop calling me.  When I asked what service they provided, they said well it depends on who you are.  What kind of strange company is that?

These ppl demanded to know my UNLISTED phone number when i called them back from my computer so they could remove me from their calling list. The lady said well we will just keep calling back until you give us your phone number. WOW!! Talk about being held hostage!

Some guy just called me from this number and was trying to verify my name.  Then he tried verifying my address, I stopped him there and asked what the call was regarding.  said it was a personal business matter and needed to speak with me.  would not say anything more.  Didn't even say his name or where was calling from.  I ended the call, right after he said that the call was being recorded.

This company called me also asking my name and then my address.  DONOT GIVE ANYTHING TO THEM. I DIDN'T AND AM CONTACTING THE FTC also. I think this is a you tube and small claims court condition. Immediately ask to speak to a supervisor and insist they donot contact you by phone since it is being recorded.  And by the way on these new fangled phones you can record them also do it.  That can be used as your proof you rquested them to stop the harrassment and they disregarded your request.

If they don't leave a message don't call them back, we have a right to know who is calling us and for what!!!

It's a scam...don't give them any information.  They are trying to collect info for a fake debt company that will probably be used to scam money from you later (via fake credit cards or stolen identity).  

I was called 2x from this number.  1st time they said it was official business from the State of NY and they need me to verify information (BTW--all the questions they asked me are question to verify my identity found on a credit report...what borough did I formally live in, what is my exact current address).  The 2nd time was for a "private business" purpose.  They refused to tell me what business or dept of NY state each time I asked.  Total scam.

They are trying to collect for a parking ticket from 5 years ago.  F*** them!!

There was nobody there when I answered, so I called the number back, it was answered straight away. After giving them my number they gave me two names they were looking for. I told them I'd never heard of either of them and I was promised I would be removed from their list within 48 hours. That usually works until I get the next collection company calling me from a different number looking for a different person and we have to go through it all again.
