This number calls repeatedly. We do not answer and there is never a message left. Blocked the number.

It's Direct TV

This number is texting me saying they can't talk and they are on their way. when I texted back who are you they didn't answer.

I looked this number up and it is linked to Direct TV.  They keep calling my phone, and when I answer I hear a lot of people in the background talking, but no one answers me when I pick up.  Today, when I got the 3rd phone call from them, so woman started talking to me and wanted to speak to an unknown person.  She did give me a name, and I told her to stop calling me, but after I finished talking to this woman, I got a bogus phone call on my landline.  It was a bogus company claiming they were working on behalf of the Peace Officers Charity.  The phone number from that call is (209)589-9124.  I know that there is no such thing as a Peace Officers Charity.  I have gotten this call before in the past, which I contacted the Police authorities here where I live.  They informed me this is a bogus call and to not give any information to them.  I have contacted the FTC over these calls, and will now contact my local authorities to get them involved if these phone calls continue.

The recorded message that keeps coming up when I get this call is a Direct TV reminder to pay a bill, etc. and that my card has to be updated, etc.  go to the website www direct tv .com - Pressing numbers on the phone did not lead me to an operator or anything.  I had to block the call - the were calling multiple times per day.  I don't even subscribe to Direct TV!!

All you broke idiots just pay your bills and stop fearing these callers.  You guys are embarrassing.

This call is from Direct TV asking for information to activate auto pay account.  I DO NOT HAVE a Direct TV account.

They've called twice now. Claim to be DirecTV and that their autobilling failed and that I should write them a check this one time. Does DirecTV know about this? I knew it was a scam when they called more than once.

This is a Direct TV reminder call to notify the customer that a change in your Automatic Billing has happened. Usually due to a card change or expired card  on the account.  It disrupts the auto billing system and hence they call you to manually pay for your bill and update your CC information.   Better than Cablevision or Comcast who would just shut off your service.  

I also do not have a Direct TV account and never has done business with them.  Annoying.

I Pay my bills and I still get calls from this number you moron.

Same deal, DirecTV claiming my card needs to be updated for autopay.... I DO NOT now, and NEVER HAD at any time, any account with DirecTV, but they continue to call and harass....

Direct TV saying my auto payment was declined... I don't use Direct TV...they've been calling the last 3 days. I'm blocking the number!!

i received a call today..they said they were from Directv and that i had a past due amount on my account.  I told them i would check online and that i was not going to give them any information over the phone.  He said, ok, have a nice day and hung up.

I then called Directv and asked them to check my account and, as I thought, I am fine.  Be wary of these callers..

I am not broke and I do pay my bills, you idiot.  These guys are scammers.  Stay off of these sites if all you are going to do is cut up on people who would like the scam calls to stop.  is this what you do all day?

Called twice already today.  They left message the second time, that it was DirectTv calling me to make a payment.  I logged onto my account, last payment posted 2 weeks ago, with no past due amount.  

I have also received many phone calls from this number.   It turns out that I had to cancel the credit card used on my Directv autopay and they needed my new card number.  Fortunately, not all calls are scams.

It is NOT DirecTV, despite what they say.  I contacted DirecTV on their published number on their website and they know nothing about this number, they say it might be a fraud situation, or sales.  DO NOT GIVE THEM any information, block their number.  They are most likely mining for information.  I asked them why they were calling and would not tell me until I "Verified" my address.  DirecTV has that information and they didn't even ask me for it when I called them.  Be suspicious of anyone calling and asking for personal data.
