annoying text that doesn't have anything to do with me.

scam. called the government fraud line to report it already.

Received 3 text's from HSBC Bank. I don't use HSBC. I'm sure it's a scam.
Most recent text came from 917-444-7426, it said to call 866-903-4357.
The another one from 917-857-7158 and it said to call 917-470-9346.
I was thinking of calling but didn't want to cal from my phone.

Same issue - received a text to call this number. I do have an account with HSBC but I think this is just coincidental. This is a scam because HSBC always sends fraud alerts via voice messages and this number does not match the HSBC number on the back of the debit/credit cards.

I have the exact same scenario as the previous posters.
They even called me using those 917 area code phone numbers.
Verizon shows these numbers are unverified so they are fake and I did not answer the calls.

same here - have gotten two texts from 917 numbers, HSBC alerts although I don't have any HSBC accounts.  They instruct me to call this 866 number.  I used landline to try it but was busy so if any thought that it was legit, not now.
