Call is from CBE Group - they collect for Direct TV

I keep getting calls from this number . I had 3 missed calls just today from them. They don't leave any messages .

usually no one responds to my "hello", but a message begins in Spanish, which is followed by a few clicks, and then the line goes dead. Several times a person asks for me. When I query who they are, they say they are from CBE in regards to a business opportunity.

This is the callback number for a debt collector, CBE Group.

These idiots keep calling yet when I return a call I get a network difficulty message. I believe this is most likely a bogus operation. Beware!

It's the CBE Group, a debt collection agency. They kept calling to collect another person's debt and apparently they did not bother to check if the phone number is correct.

They kept calling me five times a day. This must be outlawed and prosecuted.

These idiots have called 8 or 9 times per day, never leave a message and just continue to call. very annoying

Just got my first call from this particular number, no message.  I've been getting debt collection calls for the last 7 years for the person that had my cell number previously.  For those of you in that situation, it does get better.  Take a deep breath, just don't answer them and add them to your contact list as garbage.  I have over 100 numbers in my phone.  The calls will eventually die down.  At first it was nearly daily.  Now I'll go a month or more at a time now between calls, then maybe 2 or 3 clustered in a week, then two months call free.

Got my first call today from 1-866-910-3178.  Blocked future calls.   Decided to research.  Googled and found this forum.  Looked up CBE.  Here's their info:      1309 Technology Pkwy, Cedar Falls, IA 50613 (319) 234-6686  Explained tired of debt collection and other bogus calls.  Lady was very nice.  Took number that called me and referred me to the group that handles what I suppose is an entire bank of numbers.  Anyway, spoke with another very nice lady, she asked me if I was "so and so" and I told her no,  I've had the phone number in question for years.  She told me she would removed me from the lust immediately.  I've gotten tons of these but I agree with what "Fuzzy" said above.  Block them and eventually the volume of call will start to lessen.   In this case since I could actually talk to someone (which is usually not the case) I decided to see what their deal was.  If they do what they promised then my call was well worth the effort.   If they don't, well I'll just keep blocking.

They also call for Verizon

I am receiving upwards of 10 calls a day from this number and it isn't even for me. I don't even get a break on Sunday.  I told the caller the first 2 times he called that I had had the number since Nov of 2013 and did not know the previous person and hung up.  The 3rd time he called I didn't even realize that it was the same person, or what he wanted, his accent was so thick.

The humans at this number call my son's house and leave no message. When I tried to return the call there is no answer.

just forward their number back the number they are calling you from. The do not call don't work. But your phone won't ring

This outfit has been calling for 2 months identifying who the call is for.  Nobody here by that name.  They leave a number to call back.  Don't answer when I see that # on the ID.  Think they'd have something better to do other than harassing people.
