- LindsayThey call my business phone almost every day for weeks and hang up immediately when I answer. I finally called them back today after I was sick of being harassed. They are looking for someone who hasn't had this number for well over 3 years. I am being phone harassed over extremely out dated phone lists. Oh, and good luck understanding them. The background noise is so loud it's hard to grasp anything said with their heavy accent.
- Caller: I couldn't understand the heavy accent with the call center background noise.

- Linda Snyder| 3 repliesThe Allied Collection people have been told, repeatedly, for over 6 mons not to call us; they are calling a wrong # asking for someone that does not live here. I just got off the phone w/them, again! They call 24/7 never leave a message. I have answered, to tell them; as well calling them back, like just now.

- Educated Consumer replies to Linda Snyder| 1 replyYou need to call the company's main number and tell them to remove your number from their database. If that doesn't work, send them a cease & desist letter.
- schnu replies to Linda SnyderTelling them to remove you from their call list is pointless. Everyone would say the same thing. You need to back that up with definitive action. First, divulge NO information to them about yourself. EVERYTHING is about the phone number they are calling. Tell them to forward to you ALL details of the claim they make to prove their case. Again, DIVULGE NO INFORMATION TO THEM ABOUT YOURSELF. If they have your phone number, they have a name and address to go with it. Next, fill out a complaint with the FTC, Better Business Bureau and Consumer Fraud Bureau of your States Attorney General. When you fill out those forms, DO NOT DIVULGE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOURSELF. The offender has your phone number. Make THEM prove your case. Use the same words on your complaint to each entity you file with. Get a case number from each of the three who now have your report. Now call back the offender and immediately tell them to get a pen and paper and give them all three case numbers along with your demand to remove your number from their call list. This is the official procedure to stop harassment that has no basis in fact. It worked for me. I can't stress enough not to engage them in conversation and DO NOT DIVULGE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOURSELF.
- Serg| 3 repliesThis caller named Neeraj called me saying that he was from Allied Interstate, a collection agency. He insisted on making on a payment agreement with me. The debt he told me is already taken care of but he insisted that it wasn't. He wanted me to give him my checking account info so he can withdrawal money to take care of the debt. I told him I didn't have one. He then asked if I had a credit card and I said No. He then told me to get a Pre-paid Card and call him the next day with that info. I said maybe I would do that but I'm not. He is going to call and want that info, which I won't have. I will do a complaint on them so they won't bother us anymore. Do Not give them any personal info cause they want you to confirm the info they have about you. BE CAREFUL AND HOPE THIS POST HELPS WITH DEALING WITH THEM.

I would consult an attorney on this - 866-910-7624I love it when these debt collectors call me now. I wasn't even the person they were looking for, but I agreed for [***] & giggles & claimed to be the person whom they were looking for. They gave me the person SS#. Dumbasses! They have a debt that needs to be settled from 2008. I told them the statutes of limitations ran out & I am not paying this. But he said it's still in collections. I said the law is on my side, Statutes of limitations! I told him I wasn't paying it. He tried to give me payment options. I said I'm not paying it & they are no longer authorized to call me at the number they called me on. He proceeded that there were other accounts. I said I didn't care take me to court, he still wanted to precede. I told him quit harassing, statute of limitations have ran out, take me to court & go [***] yourself. then I hung up. WHAT DUMBASSES they are. They called a wrong number & I played them. But hopefully they won't call a business line again.

- ReceptionistFYI, if you have a debt collector that keeps calling & harassing you. Report them! Guaranteed way to get them to stop calling you, answer your phone: 911 What's your emergency. That get's their attention. And tell them this line is 911 emergency, please stop calling. It keeps scammers from calling you again!
- Annoyed101I have received calls from this number several time and they never leave a message. I have returned the call to get some info on them and to remove my number and they never answer, just hold-music forever. I called Allied Collection Agency (mentioned by some others) and my phone number was not in their system, so it's not them. This is definitely not legit, not for me anyway.
- Maria replies to Serg| 1 replyThe caller kept insisting I confirm the last 4 digits of my social. Which scares the hell out of me, because he knew the 4 digits and wanted me to confirm.
I told him I am not confirming anything, and hung up.
He also would not tell me any information on the account on which he was doing this so called collection on.
He barely could speak English. - Janyce| 1 replyGot a call from this # yesterday at 6:08 p.m. No msg was left.
