Received a message from someone identifying himself as Robert Jones from CCS Group.  Requested that I call him back to meet him in person to obtain 'legal documents' from him.  Also said that he would show up at my home and/or place of employment if I did not pay the debt which he never identified during the call.  Also did not disclose the 'this communication is from a debt collector' notice at the beginning of the message, which I thought was required.  He left a claim number.  I called the number back and got a voice mail from a Ms. Olson who requested that callers leave their name, number and claim number to be called back.  BTW, the call shows up 'no caller id'.  I owe no debt as far as I know.

"Message is for Felicia Bates. My name is Nicole Adams calling about a fax order received in my office in reference to bad checks that were written by you. I've legal documents in hand that I need to deliver to you. And I was calling to schedule a place and time where we can meet. However since I was unable to reach you by phone. I will be actively trying to deliver these documents to you. At either your place of employment or residence. If you have any questions contact the CCS group at 8669150085. Claim number 315891(?) Alicia Bates's. You've officially been notified."

The voice mail the lady left sounded really sketchy.  I called the number anyway and the greeting stated Nicole Choice Communication Services (debt collector).  Spoke to a rep that claimed they would update their records to reflect they have an invalid number for the person they were looking for.

I just got the same thing. What ended up happeneing? They were saying I had bad checks, I don't even write checks.

there collecting on payday loans just a collection company dont listen to anything said by them there a scam and lying, you dont have to actually pay it back its not against the law. dont listen to them scums

I actually was sued legally by a payday loan.  I don't know what state you are in, but I am in California and regretting not dealing with it.

We hear stories like yours all the time. We believe none of them. Why is that? Because no one ever comes back with any verifiable proof of their story. So surprise us! Give us the details. Docket numbers, Venue, Name of the lender and the name of their Atty., Business license numbers, The states the plaintiff(s) were licensed to collect in, Etc.
Come on! You want to help all these folks..right?

Lisa you were sued and probly delivered documents from a process server they claim to be service locators  such as Lisa green and joe sanders. FAKE. They give out no written documentation of the loan and then ask for my credit card number and such over the phone. FAKE. I feel bad for you if you fell for it cause I sure wont

I just got a call from this as well. Identified himself as Mark Young and all the rest is the same. It's simple fear tactics. Pathetic really.

Got a call from them they called my grandma who I don't get to talk to much and parents so I decide to call back to make sure its a legit debt because I've been a victim of fraud before and when I ask what type agency are u a law firm? Collection? Or wat? Guy says we specialize in out of court mediation. OK but that still didn't answer my question. Guy gets mad hangs up. I call back same guy picks up and without hesitation stars giving out persnal info and try to verify if its me.....I'm like wow that's not even me or my address or my social. Did u jus give out someone's info? Now I'm really heastsnt. Guy gets some girl and she says well if its not u and u want to play games I'm sending these summons to court to u and hangs up. Lol really? First off knw the law if your suppose to get a summons or being sued u get either certified mail or in person. So if they threat u tell them THEY MUST send documents first u cannot get sued over night never fall for well our clients want to take u to court but if u pay me right now Dnt worry bout it.

Please beware of this company. This is not a legitimate collection agency and their collection tactics are illegal. If contacted by this organization go to your local Law Enforcement and have them investigate as well as document. When contacted they talk in circles release no pertinent information about where they are located and refuse to listen to the caller while they talk over and around you. They do appear to have your personal information and they are collecting on payday loans. Please contact the originator of the loan. I informed the loan company that if they hired these people I have contacted the Attorney General about unfair and illegal collection processes. We gave them the opportunity to deliver the documents but no one ever showed up. If you did take out a loan you should always honor your responsibility. They are using databases to find anyone who has lived with you, related to you or related to someone you know and contacting them. This is illegal. I have informed the original loan company that I am pursuing this and they stated that they do not condone this type of collection and I quote believe this to be fraud. Remember do not pay anything over the phone, release personal information, or stand by and be threatened by these types of agencies. This company is hired by Enjay Solutions in NY this information was given to me by Ace Cash Express. Hopefully all of you will take my warnings seriously and I implore you to not take out payday loans these people are predators as you can see by the collection tactics. Payday loans are a vicious cycle that most of you will not be able to get out from.

I got that call today , the lady called me with blocked number , i was answering ... then she asked the Name
of the person ... then i said ..it ;s me , then she say i have to give her the adress ,she have on hand legal doc blah ...blahh !! i told her  if you can unblock your number then i can know who you are i will more than welcome to continue to talk with , she seem like screamed ..." no , i dont need to give you my umber blah..blah !! the i hung up her ...she called back with unblocked number again ..i did not answered ..then she leave her [***] voice mail , her voice scared me , like a police officers or swat team who busted the drugs dealer
she said ..why you hung up on me ...blah ! blah again ...

they have called people i do no even know or are close too. calling the job and cell phone and leaving threatening messages.  called BBB and they stated this company have F rating.  i am keeping a pistol at my bedside since i have been getting these threatening calls.

first of all if they were a legitimate company, they would not be posting personal information regarding Felicia Bates.  This stupid person named Nicole Adams is a piece of work!!  They will be shut down shortly and have to relocate again like they have numerous times!!

For all of you who are receiving unwanted calls from this less than shady characters:  First, contact the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint.  You will find they have an F rating because of their tactics that is against the law.  Then, contact your local Attorney General because they can cease these shady companies from calling you.  Of course, they will change their name and phone number.  Even if you owe someone and have not paid the bill, you do not deserve the type of harassment these shady characters are putting forth.  I do know it is against the law for this sorry excuse for a company to contact your employer. Please do something and protect your rights.  Do not allow people such as this to continue to contact you!!

Got the same voice mail as you all.. only this they were calling for my mother on my cell.. this is odd she has no debts... here is a new number from a mark young at ccs 855-808-5870.. total fraud

Received two calls, back to back.  One was restricted and the other was unavailable.  A message was left from Dave Taylor who stated the same script as you have listed above.  He even contacted my mother, whom I am not in contact with at all.  I found their website and sent an email to them requesting copies of the documents they are referring to.  I haven't written any checks in years and I do not have a payday loan.  No response from the emailed request yet.

I got the same message from this Dave Taylor....I called numerous times back to back.  Same exact script as everyone else is getting.

Scam and won't stop calling.  Always call from a private or blocked number.  One name used is Dave Taylor.
