A barely audible caller left message to call Sean Wilks at G Money Bank from the above no.

Number called my cell today. I didn't pick up, since I don't know the number.  They left a message - couldn't understand the name, but it was from GE Money Bank.  I have a credit card with them, but I don't believe its late.

I wouldn't give them ANY INFORMATION!! I called that number back and didn't receive a company intro message just directly to a person. Having worked in a lot of call centers this struck me wrong and immediately he asked for my social. I refused to give the entire and just let him have my last 4.

He told me he couldn't help me as the last four of social wasn't matching my account. I later called the real number to GE Money and found that there were no notes regarding why I would need to be contacted by them. They also felt that it sounded sketchy and may be a scam.

Getting calls every day at work.  No message, just noises or beeps

Just received a call from 866 923 4421. They called my cell number first, and I didn't pick up bc I didn't know what it was. Then they called my business so I answered. They said they were GE Money. They said it was a courtesy call and that they knew my bill wasn't due until the a certain date but asked if I'd like to set up a payment. I didn't or course. They asked if I ever have troubles paying my bill.

They also wanted to verify my address. But then asked a sketchy question like is the unit at the same address? And I was like what? But they identified what they were talking about after looking it up for several minutes. I did try to call the number back later but was never connected to a person. It feels weird and it's not the same phone number as GE money's number. I'd be careful what info I share.

I too have an account with GE Money, and my account is in great standings, and I get several calls from this number daily, no message is left for me.

I got a call from them too. I too got a live operator who asked for my social. They said it was GE Money Bank. I have great credit with them and nothing wrong with my account. I hung up. I won't answer this call again.

Got this phone call today...  And of course was skeptical about it myself.  

I did call GE Money directly and was transfered to a account manager who kindly called this 866.932.4421 number back for me and got to the bottom of it.  

She did let me know that it is infact a GE Money Bank number, and is lagit.  Now this is a new program from GE Money, but and because of the dialers they are using, they do not exactly know who they are calling as the phone just connects on that side, so this is why they are needing to verify information.  From what I gathered from the conversation, its pretty generic... Doesn't get triggered by the account for any reason, so nothing to do with payment problems or anything.  They are just using this to help ensure they have correct account information, in the case of accts like mine (Honda Credit), they ask about vehicle or item location.  They also push auto pay, so while your payment may not be do and account may be current, they are trying to get auto pay set up...  Also things like the credit insurance program they always try to sell you when you call them where it pays your payments in the event of a short term job loss or something...  

Of course don't just take my word for it, you can call GE Money Bank on your own to verify, but i did the research here and found it to be a lagit number.

This number was blowing up my work phone.  I finally answerd and as another logger reported they said "it was a courtesy call and that they knew my bill wasn't due but asked if I'd like to set up a payment.  They knew my due date and minimum amount due.  I hung up and and called GE money/Care Credit and they said they are not affiliated with any such number and to never expect a call from them if my account wasnt late, which it has never been.

I get calls two or three times a day and it drives me crazy.  It is GE Money and yes I have an account with them but it is paid off.  I wish they would stop calling.

I recived a call from 866-923-4421, however, they left no message and since I did not know this number I blocked any further calls from them...

I received a weird call from this number.  The guy who left the message was hard to understand & left a message for "lisa", then said he was my name calling   Shawn......very weird and that he was calling from what sounded like "G" or "T" Money Bank, he asked for a call back to 866-923-4421, listed th days & hours to call back Eastern time....couldn't understand what he said, but there was a definite "beeping" becsause the call was being recorded on his end.

got 2 calls from this # in less than 1 minute apart. no message was left or anything like that. called them back and no company intro or name when they answered so i hung up

Thanks so much for the information...that clarifies completely...I got the call on my cell, didn't get a message and when I did call back got a recording then disconnected feeling it was suspicious...and yes I also have a GE Money Acct...

I also have received a calls at home and work from 866-923-4421. They said that they were from G.E. Money bank.  I only have one account with them through Care Credit. My account is current with them. I even called Care Credit to see if they called and they confirmed that it wasn't them. It is a scam!!!

I Keep getting calls from 1-866-923-4421 I finally ansewerd the call. They said they were from GE money bank and asked me if I was having some trouble paying my bill and if I wanted to set up an auto payment 7 days before my bill was even due. I declined, he further asked to varify my billing address. I gave him the information not thinking anything of it. After the phone call I felt a little uneasy about the call. I called GE money to verify why they were calling in the first place since my account is up to date and I have been making regular payments. The operator stated that there was a note in my account of a call made to me, however, she could not verify why the call was made in the first place or who the representative was. I gave her the number and she called it getting the same recorded machine and dead air. she told me to that the next time they call DONT ANSWER. just to be safe. They maybe a call center for GE money but you never know these days be careful.

I called GE Money bank customer service number on my statement to ask about this number. I have been harassed by calls from this number for months. Our account in in good standing and has been for YEARS. The gal at GE Money could not confirm or deny GE Money using this number. She said it was probably a GE Money telemarketer number. That they do call customers to solicit products. She asked if I would like her to note our account that we do NOT want any calls from them in the future. I said yes.
Then I called this number in question back and got a person. Sounded very much like the same gal I talked to at GE Money Bank. Same accent. She answered the line with GE Money Bank can I help you? I told her I was calling to tell them to stop calling our number. She took our number and said she would stop the calls. I told her that our account was in good standing and their was no reason they should be calling us at all much less so often. She said the reason they called was to let us know that if we ever had trouble making out payment that we could call them and they would help. That is the dumbest reason for harassing phone calls I have ever heard!! I think they are selling their security program.....$1.50 per $100 you owe per month for this insurance they are selling. It pays your bill off if you ever lose your job or some other hardship. I would not give them the time of day.

I got a call from this number, and I also have accounts with GE Money. But--I never, never, NEVER answer the phone, whether it's my home land line or my cell, if I don't know who it is. If it's legit, they'll leave a message. If not, they can stuff it.

Keep getting call everyday for almost a week now

I've been getting these calls for over a week now.  I finally looked it up on Google and found this page.  I, too, have a credit account through GE Money.  I called and spoke with a woman with a very heavy accent.  I asked her why they were called and she said it's because my payment WAS due on March 20th.  I said, "Excuse me, what's today's date?"  She said, "March 8th".  I asked, "Then why are you calling me if my payment isn't due for a couple of weeks?"  She said it was just in case I might foresee any troubles making my payment on time.  Huh?  Are they serious?  I told her to make a note in my file NOT to call me again unless I AM late, which I've never been.  She said she'd make a note of it and stop the calls.  If they persist, I'll just block the number.  This is so ridiculous.
