It's a bank that used to be called Drive Financial, they were bought out by Santander Finacial.  Drive Financial was an auto loan institution that specialized in high risk auto loans to clients with less than perfect credit.  They were bought out by Santander Financial which is a much bigger banking institution.  However they use the same annoying tactics that any mobster style collection agency.  They will call and harrass you and ignore your requests for them to stop calling you.  Basically you can ignore their calls or, as I like to do, answer the call then hang up.

I filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry. I registered over a month ago.

Why do these people call and harass someone. I mean really. Build a bridge and get over the s##t because I am tired of being called and harrassed all the time!

I rec'd call and automated voice message said to call the number back. Ya right - just hold your breath and wait for me to call! They are not even calling for me because its a new cell phone and I got a new number with it. Jerk that had the number before was a real d-bag because I get collection calls for him all the time.

These people just called me....didn't leave a msg...

they called and the automated machine left me as message as well they have called me at least a half a dozen times in the past week alone... not calling them back i dont know who they are or what they want but i want no part of it ive never done any business with these people so they can get bent as far as im concerned.

This phone number has called for several months for a person who had my cell number a year and 6 months ago.  I have tried to tell them they have the wrong number but they keep harassing.  I have tried to block their numbers without success.  This is unbelievable that nothing can be done.

Just received a call from 866-923-9860 asking me to hold the line for an important message, appears to be a telemarketer, I added this number to my "blocked list".

They think they would keep calling and get me to pay, they were dead wrong. I ain't paying them [***]...

collection agency call SANTANDER, they wont stop calling. it's very anoying!!!!

Thanks for the other posting. Now I know who they are. I got my cell number last year, and no matter what I tell this people, that I'm not the person they are trying to reach, they keep calling. I also registered on the "do not disturb" but that only works/w telemarketing, not collection agencies. They are really rude....and using my minutes. I also filed a complaint, but they are still calling. The worth of it, is that it is a machine that calls leaving "Urgent" messages.

Because i cannot block that number, and do get legitmate 800 calls, I save them as COLLECTIONS CALL, so when the number comes up I delete or reject the call.

I've been getting calls from this number and I've never picked up. It seems like they do so once a week and they leave a message. This time, though, they blocked their number but still left a message. That's how I knew it was them. -_-

The just called me on my new cellphone which is a number I do NOT give out.

How did they get this # ? All I got was a voicemail, but I don't have an auto loan and haven't for many years. I wonder what they want, so I'm going to answer next time.

Continue to get unwanted/unknown calls from this number.  Computer voice saying something like Consumer USA but notnsure.

O.K. my car was repossessed by the idoits! I had been calling them for over three months to come and pick it up because I couldn't make the payments anymore.  What did they do? They put it on my credit as a "involuntary repossession".  Now you are calling me telling me I still owe you money?  You can't get blood from a turnip!

Put a phone block on 866-923-9860 they call every week. They don't leave reason for calling Not interested in their product

yeah with how the economy is these days even the perfect people in this world struggle to make ends meet so [***] happens even to good people!! Im sure all your bills arent paid up in full!!

They are a collection agency and they are exempt from the DO NOT CALL registry.
