Someone called my mom asking for me and said I was in TROUBLE? But they wouldn't give her any info.

I had this same thing happen to me just today. Sounds like a goddamned scam to me. Asking for my social security information.

Somebody claiming that a legal claim was filed against me and that they needed my personal information. They made it sound serious to my grandmother, which is whom they called, and not me. They asked for personal information but would not release any info as to who they were or who they worked for.

I was coming in from out of town when my dad informed me of some lady named "Tanya" who called my grandmother saying that I needed to be in court the following day and she needed my cell number. Praise God for the wisdom of the Holy Ghost in my grandmother. She didn't give the person any information at all. But I want to find out who this is and my name needs to be removed from whatever list their using!!!!!!!

They gave her a so-called claim number as well. What is that about?

I got one too.  Rattled off a claim number said I need to call with the claim number and my address so they can do something about the claim??? I don't understand.  Is this legit or bogus?

I received a message from a blocked caller. However, they left a phone number of 866 924-9418. They gave me a claim number, asked for my address and place of employment. He also left a message on the voice mail of my place of employment. Clearly, this Robert Molina with a thick accent was reading from a script. He informed me on both messages, cell and office that I had officially been served.

These people are relentless...they spoof the number to make it look like a local call...can totally tell they are reading from script...if they had legal documents to serve, they wouldn't have to call to verify address information...duh!

These people have called me no less than 15 times today alone...ridiculous!

I just received a call from them today, some chick named Carol Brooks didnt want to give me any other information, I hung up on her, she called back from 9795832982 I didnt answer and she left a message saying that they need to notify me and my job, and I HAVE OFFICALLY BEEN NOTIFIED! WTF is this number lol

my mom just got scammed $87 with ghis number. they scared her by telling her legal action was going to take place and they were serving her court papers in 30min. please be careful!

These people called looking for my boyfriend's mother. She's never lived here and the phone service is in my name, not his so I have no idea how they found my number while looking for her. She herself does not even have this number. The guy said she had a claim filed against her and that she had officially been notified. I could tell he was reading from a script. They called from a local number but didn't give a company name. These people are scandalous and DO NOT give them your information!

was left a message saying I was officially notified, however the name they left was someone I never heard of. left that number for them to call back with a claim number. Caller was real hateful sounding so I called them back and hung up on them.

They give a fake “reference number” regarding your account.   They also ask for payment information, a credit card number to “settle” your so-called “account” with them.  DON’T DO IT!  DON’T GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION.  When you REFUSE to give them any personal, or credit card information, then the person on the other end says…”Okay then, Good Luck”. Guy keeps calling me from a number inside my area code telling me to call (866) 9243460 and trying to give me a case number. I keep asking him this is about and he says he doesnt know that he is just a third party that was hired to get in contact with me. I asked him to stop calling me if he cant tell me what this is in relation to and that Im not calling anyone and he called me back 11 times yesterday after that and even left 2 voicemails telling me he will not stop calling me back until I call the number. He wouldnt even tell me what company HE was calling from. He was stupid enough to leave it on my voice mail and it has been turned over to the state police for aggrevated harassment. Can't wait to find out what happens next and who this dirtball is. I'm assuming is has something to do with debt as I claimed bankruptcy 2 years ago, but have been cleared of all debt but student loans which I am paying and owe nobody anthing.
