Is this a spam call? No message left here too

It is Citi calling.

It's citi bank; i just let it go to the machine.

Citibank  Recorded message informing a new card is being issued due to changes implemented.  Additionally; login to sign up for 5% cash back in July, August, and September.

CitiCards....letting me know about changes to my card. I already knew about it since they mailed me the info, why the heck are the calling me. whatever.

Was an automated machine saying my name.

Probably fraud.

I did call them back (at the above 866 #) and sounded legit, but basically trying to get your credit card number.

I just called Citicards (the phone number form the back of my card) and she said to only call Citibank through the back of card #.

This number called us too and we ended up giving our two account numbers to a machine/computer.  Have call Citi and make them aware of possible scam.

This # called 3 times within 1 hour last evening, I never picked it up, and they left no message. I simply never answer calls from unidentified callers. I believe that if it's an important call from family or friends, the caller will leave a message. If it's an important call from a legitimate business such as one of my banks or credit cards, they will identify themselves on my caller ID unit.

Yes, It's really Citibank but I still wouldn't give'm my number. I called the Citiback customer service number (on the back of my card)  to report this call and they confirmed that it was an automated call to tell me that my card was getting upgraded to a WorldCard (whatever that is).

My husband took the call and said it was an automated voice that asked if he was me. He said no, so it left the 866-928-0359 number saying I should call back. When I called, it was just account balance and payment info, so I'm not sure why they were calling me. There wasn't even an option to speak to a rep. I called Citi to make sure this was legit and they said it was. Whew. I won't be stupidly entering my number over the phone ever again.

The caller ID on the call is an international phone number. It screams scam. I can't believe Citi is doing something so low rent!

i just got a phone call from this number 10 minutes ago.  it kept on asking me to verify my name by pressing "1", i did 3 times but it didn't register so it asked me to call them back at the same number.  i got worried so i called the number on the back of my card.  the customer service rep told me it was just an automated call informing me of new citicards promotions.  she said she saw a log in my file saying a promotional call was made to me today.  so the number is legit, but is really pointless and annoying.   just don't pick up.

Got the message too.  Deleted it and didn't hit 1 or 2 on my phone as the message asked.

I got same message, I called back, put in my card # then pressed "#" like 7 times, got a lady, who asked for Social gave her social, note: that the automated message system did not state my current balance, also note: that they wanted to upgrade my card to "world city" for free.  Realized I was going to be scammed, quickly called the city card # on back of city card, the rep. assured me that this phone number is actual city phone number, and that they are actually in the process of upgrading cards.  No need to panic, and people if you say they are scammers, might as well poof it or funking do something about it then sitting here on your ^$$ and typing B.S. about this mess.

No this just further infuriates me, I called the second rep. from official city cards number on the back of my card.  The Gal' said they track all outgoing calls and she also was able to verify this new phone #, from where I received this message, and the time I got original phone call.  No really people, don't f$#^&%g say it is a scam, when U clearly don't know.  But don't take my word for it, just call the phone number on the back of your city card and ask them to trace their outgoing phone calls. wooooo hooooo.... jees

I called the number on the back of my card.
Citi said it was "probably" a call to ask if I still wanted to keep one of my cards active, because i'd haven't used one of them in 6 months.
