I get charged by them, but when they 'call me' the number comes up as 'unknown' or 'private' so i can never call them back, but i had to go to my bank to get their number and they gave me b.s. reasons why they can't end it.

They called and asked my husband to subscribe to some magazine service, and told him, hey if you do not like it you can cancel. We called to cancel because they charge the amount, $24.99 not once a month but twice. The company told us they couldnt cancel we had to go to our bank to make them cancel it. So we did, it was all great, until 6 months later when the do not pay at the bank expired. They started charging my account biweekly again with no notice. needless to say, $129 in bounced checks later, i am scanning over everything and see this number, and sure enough, it is the same thing.

My daughter was scammed by National Readers Service (Pittsburgh, PA) back in June.  The debit processing contact number for the $68.28 withdrawal was 866-928-4064. We have since reported National Readers Service to the Federal Trade Commission and the Attorneys General; however, they have agreed to close her account and have refunded her money in the process.   Although it is likely that numerous company “names” are attached to this same “debit processor”, I do have some contact numbers  and other information for various “National Readers Services” here: http://thenrsscam.blogspot.com/2009/10/so-who ... al-readers.html

I encourage you to contact your consumer protection agency if you need additional help.  State, county, and city CPA offices can be found here: http://consumeraction.gov/state.shtml .

Best of luck to everyone dealing with this, D/

this # as well as 4 others that are all linked together. it doesn't matter what the phone number is they all get answered by the same woman who is never there because its after hours who are this people if you call the numbers the voice answering never says the company's name. on my bank statement the name changed every two months and charged my account 49.95 that's 349.95 before I found out that it wasn't a bank charge.

I keep getting this charge for $34.95 and $39.95. I know they are the same people with two different numbers. I don't know what I am paying for. My 20 something yo kids are getting afraid to use the internet because of all the scams. This has to stop. I love the Internet and I'm taking a stand TODAY to stop the scam...

I just found out that I have been being charged $24.95 by MEMBERL 888-7785938, VA and $39.95 by Subscription Services 866-9284064, VA every month for who know how many months.  The card I have is from Direct Express issued from Social Security for my 5 year old sons disability payments.  The online account history for the card only goes back 4 months and these charges were made for all 4 months (April to July).  I have never signed up for any subscription services and wouldn't with my little boys money.  The only thing that gets charged to this card is for dvd's from Disney Movie Club occasionally.  That is what I had assumed the charges were from until I did some research to find out why DMC was still charging me when we had not ordered any movies for a while.  Anyway, I have yet to reach anyone at either of the phone numbers.  It is pretty SORRY for people to steal a disabled little boy's money.  If anybody knows how to reach these people and get my little boy's money back please let me know. We need this money to get him to his doctor appointments and provide him the care he needs.  Thank you for any help can give.

I had the same thing happen to me as well;I was getting charged 39.95 for some online purchase company. They said that I received a confirmation email for the trial and since I did not call to cancel the trial they started charging me for a service I never signed up for. I called to complain and they cancelled the subscription but only offered a refund of 39.95 (mind you they have been taking this amount out since approx. Feb. so you do the math lol). I will be reporting them and another company I had a similar issue with to the BBB and the FTC.
