Had a message.  Said Elvis was calling to tell me I had won the $50,000.00 dream giveaway.  Had "very good news for me.  Did not say my name at any time.  Said to call back.  I'm sure it is a scam.

I also got a call, left a message on my answering machine, from Albert saying he is calling winners from the "$50,000 Dream Giveaway" and that he has very good news for me and to call back 1-866-933-6012.  He never said my name or who the sweepstakes was for.  I was very suspicious but thought that I may have entered some sweepstakes in the past year.  I'm glad I looked online first, as I'm sure it is a scam.  I have not called the number back.

I got the same call. I know it's a scam because I never enter sweepstakes. If it were real I believe the call would be more informing. Sure $50,000 bucks work ROCK but I don't believe it.

I too got this call this morning. It woke me up. I did not answer and let the voicemail get it. I thought it was my Ex Husbands, girl friends grandmother calling. Well, I checked the voicemail. I knew it was a scam right away, and so I of course wanted to look up the # and post. I did not find much from the # which called. Of course I looked up the # they want you to call..also. And here we are.

When I read that they ACTUALLY ask for your bank account #, I was so tempted to call them and pull the whole "WOW!? Really?!" And, then let them know I do not have a bank account. LOL! Which is true! I do not have credit cards, or even a car. I do not have anything they could try to scam me out of. But, getting their hopes up that I could be a mark, then crush it. LMAO! That would be funny.. really funny. LMAO!

I had this message on my answering machine also.  Glad I found this blog when trying to check it out on the net.  I won't be calling back either. I traced it back to comm 3 communications which is a network for different places around the world (like in the far east).

Couldn't access our voicemail because of the hurricane & snowstorm...finally listened to it..no mention of an "Elvis" or an "Albert"..it actually said it was from Comcast (my cable company) and sent on Nov 4th, 2012 around 8 a.m. It gave the name of some company of which it said I had entered a contest some time ago and they had some very good news for me.  I actually called the number.and it must have rung at least 25 times then it answered and their mailbox was FULL and couldn't accept additional info and said to call back. Glad I went online and saw this, but damn, I've always wanted to talk to Elvis! lol  If it sounds too good to be true...it's too good to be true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also got a call from the 50,000 dream giveaway. Caller ID said the name was a Bill Brentley and the phone number was 312-488-1851 and in the message he left he said his name was Albert and for me to call the 866-933-6012 number because I won, so being curious and thinking it might be a scam I called anyway and a man answered and asked me my name and I told him to give me his first which he said it was Tony Johnson and then this Tony asked me if I was married or single and I asked him what did that have to do with anything if I won and he got irritated and said to me " we asked you to call and you did, so we will be sending you certified mail in december", then he hung up on me. So I looked up Bill Brentley and his number and it was out of Chicago. So yeah, it's a scam and if I get anything in the mail in december I'm turning it over to the authorities. I kept notes with names and numbers just in case.

I'm disappointed Elvis didn't call me. Tim McDerman called me. I don't know what # he called from I don't have caller ID. Message on my answering machine said  It was the end of the Cadillac Escalade contest I had entered and he had very good news for me and to please call him back at 866-933-6012. I didn't call, what would they do with that? They can't but that in a bank account. Maybe they ask for your info I suupose you would have to pay taxes etc if you really won something like that. This must work for themon some level as they continue to call people.

got a call from a number that was blocked and let it go to voicemail. They said I won a Cadillac Escalade and to call back to 866-933-6012. I know I didn't enter a contest for that but if they want to deliver it to the local Cadillac dealership with all the documents then I'll pick it up!

I just got a call from 866-933-6012 just this morning saying that I won an Escalade too. I had entered a contest for some kind of vehicle this year couldn't remember what though. I didn't think it would hurt to dile the ph# and see what they had to say but when I was instantly put on hold I hung up. The guy on the answering machine didn't say my name or what store I had entered the contest from. I am glad I looked on line before I pressed any buttons just in case they charged me money per minute once I did. His name that he gave was Tim Mcderman from the Official Notification Dept.  I live in Michigan.
