ths is the voice message I got in part............a civil complaint that's been forwarded to my office. There's also questions regarding the property address at three three seven. Harper Avenue. To discuss the pending actions that are being filed against you.- Call type: Debt collector
- DaveThey seem to be able to get your personal information. They tried to contact me at work and also got our cell phone numbers.
- Call type: Debt collector
- DaveThey said a civil action has been forwarded to their law office. Regarding a previous address I used to live at. They came up with a reference number to mention when calling back. They called my workplace earlier this week and then called my wife's cell phone and left a message. The number was blocked but on the message they said I have 24 hours to respond. They left the number 8669402795. Then sarcastically said good luck. I sense the caller had an evil smile. They made it so convincing but if you are being sued keep in mind it is illegal to harass or threaten you with a call like this. Law firms would serve you a notice or at least send mail certified. They seem to have some of my personal information to make it sound real.
- Caller: unknown scammer

- Violet_from_TX| 1 replyGot a vmail saying that there are pending questions about the property located at "agent read my street name". Funny because it is an apartment community, (so at least they could have looked up that on google and sent their "time sensitive docs" to the front office). Anyway, the guy said to call back to his 866-940-2795. IDcaller was showing "unavailable". They did have my name correct and who knows how they got my cell #. Obviously a scam or some sort of collection agency. Good credit and no pending issues here, sounds like illegal cold calling. Fyi: worked in a call center before and there are laws against this type of harrassment. Don't be scared :)
- Caller: Intelligible name of law firm
- Stanislav Dawidowski| 1 replyReceived message about a complaint filed against me with a case #. I asked the woman who answered the phone if she ever
considered getting a real job. She told me to F--- myself. Scam to scare. Keep track of calls and report.- Caller: No name
- Call type: Debt collector
- Nice TryThese people called my brother looking for me (whose number is private). They stated a claim was filed against me regarding "property address issues in a town that I haven't lived in in 3 years. To boot, it was a rental and I have never owned property. Nice try, but I am a law student. I called back and advised them that it is illegal to contact family members regarding a possible debt unless that person is a minor. They have to come at me better than that!!
- Call type: Debt collector
- nonameyes received the same call from a so call Michel jones who's number is 866-940-2795 harassing me something about a property complain of who knows what, well she said call back at this number witch is private hahaha what a joke.
- Caller: law firm
- roger houstonWhat kind of phoney name is Michelle Jones. This is a collection agency pretending to be a law firm which is illegal. They don't follow the rules and use deceptive means to gain information. They call from private numbers and never send anything in writing, gee wonder why? Don't be fooled, technically they owe us money for all our rights that they are violating per the fdcpa, each violation is payable up to 1000 dollars.
- Caller: scammers

- Caller: Document Delivery Service
- OhhYaGottaBeQuickerThanThat| 1 replyThis is a new spin on calls I have received previously in seemingly 6 month intervals. Each time the message is basically the same, however props to this time they actually have people that can speak proper English. Previously the messages were clearly made from a foreign country. I've made a report on this to the local Police, FBI office and even Interpol. Since these calls are being made outside the U.S. there really isn't anything anyone here can do. I call this "phone terrorism" The only thing I've been told that can be done or works is to change your phone number. Just document the calls, I have mine saved on jump drives if anything comes about, I want proof of how many times these losers have called my phones. The messages used to contain threats the police were going to arrest me the same day. I hope no one ever falls for this type of behavior, besides being annoying, it can be disturbing getting these calls at work, and having to try to explain to unsuspecting coworkers that you aren't going to be arrested. My message to these losers, "I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you're looking for money, I can tell you I don't have money... but what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you."

- NANCY| 3 repliesTHIS IS A COLLECTION AGENCY I FILE A LAWSUIT PLEASE DO THE SAME per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act 807.15 USC 1962e

(10) The use of any false representation or deceptive means to collect or attempt to collect any debt or to obtain information concerning a consumer.

(13) The false representation or implication that documents are legal process.

In addition to these conversations I have even received a call, asked for by name, stated this is she and then immediately hung up on by a Blueshore representative thus violating
§ 806. Harassment or abuse 15 USC 1692d

- snyper replies to OhhYaGottaBeQuickerThanThatHmmm.... sounds like a line from a movie to me... If I remember correctly (which I do) the movie was called "Taken" starring Liam Nieson was it not? If you really want to scare people, you should come up with either your own material, or deliver it in a way that won't make people think you are reading from a script.
- snyper replies to NANCY| 1 replySo NANCY, aside from apparently calling you, what did these people do to you that makes you YELL at the PEOPLE who WANT to HELP YOU.
- CWG40 replies to NANCYYou really can't file in lawsuits against these people since they are located in India. They regularly ignore US laws and are pretty much bullet-proof.
Still you can report them: https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection
Maybe as some point the US government will do something to these wretches, but I wouldn't hold my breath. The Indian government isn't doing a damn thing, if you ask me. In cases where the government has cracked down on these people; they just start again under new numbers and associates in the US and elsewhere. - same boat replies to Violet_from_TXThank You! the acct number they had on me was legit, the rest, BS. thanks for the "calm down" note. It has proven a very good use of time to do some research on this one, but it has caused a lot of stress.
