said they were Vincent Gray and asked me to call back at 1-866-941-9695 - I don't know a Vincent Gray so I figured if I called back I would get a wierd charge on my phone, so did not call back.

I received the same call today from the same person.  hmmmm????  I wonder if anyone knows can help us identify who this person is.  I didn't call him back either.

They've called me twice, and each time I've answered, Nobody is there.

I knew they were going to be a debt collector lol - yea they are trying to collect on a 9 year old debt lol -  I told them to lose my number and get a real job!

comes up unknown caller. leaves same message as others has said. called back left message to stop calling my number. guess what they kept calling. left message called back lady answered i told rep who never identifies her or the company told her about message wanted to know who she wanted here it was not even me nor my husband got pissed told her off she said the reason they keep calling is cause i am rude. i told her off and said i would contact my phone provider to see what i could do about them harrassing us for someone who does not live here. called her a bad name some hopefully it will stop....

This place is ridiculous. They are trying to collect on a paid cancelled gym membership from 11 years ago. I told her I would be happy to send her the documentation, but she did not want to hear that. Asked me if I was going to pay the debt? I said "no" and she hung up.

I have been getting calls from these [***] for months. Always the same non-descript "This is Vincent Gray" message. I try to reach someone by pressing 1 but the moment the come on the line the turn around and hang up on me. I hate these [***].

Infuriating!! We have no credit problems or even debt. Am wondering about the gym comment above cuz the gym screwed up one time and was sending bills to old address and sent to some collection agency - Anyway, here's the scenario I just experienced. I get a call, it says This call is from Vincent Gray. To speak to him, press 1. Am EXTREMELY tired of these stupid messages appearing on answering machine and getting calls so pushed 1 to tell whomever to bug off. THEY called ME, and yet when I push 1 or whatever, they have the nerve to put you on hold, with music and everything. Then a human being comes on the line, not identifying themself. I tell him I'm mad about these repeated calls, I've contacted them before and been assured we've been taken off whatever list, he says did you have a name, I say Vincent Gray, HE FREAKING PUTS ME BACK INTO THE HOLD MUSIC AND I GET ANOTHER BIMBO JUST LIKE HIM! A female this time. WHO STARTS THE WHOLE DAMN SPIEL ALL OVER AGAIN!!! **AND** has the nerve to tell ME to calm down and stop yelling. Which I wasn't, despite how clearly pissed I am now. Extremely condescending, talking over me, acting like she's speaking to a child, saying, now I'm not going work with you if you don't just take a deep breath and calm down. Which REALLY ticked me off. I mean, THEY called ME. And her idiot cohort dumped me back in the system a second time even!!! So I asked where the call was coming from, what company or agency. And she doesn't tell me. Instead, she tells me she's going to hang up if I don't act nice. Keep in mind, I was annoyed immensely, but was in control and not swearing, not being rude, just being angry, reasonably so. I tell her I want the name of the company, rather than acting like I deserved to be spoken to like a child, and she hangs up. THEY CALLED **ME**. Infuriating. I'm definitely going to call the number above. Thanks to whatever person left it. I'm also going to check with phone company about blocking them.

Same experience as everybody else ... "Vincent Gray" ... runaround ... not forthcoming w/company or affiliation identification...

What bothers me most about this is the fact that they are not calling ME at all, but are using a random phone number generator, just hoping to land on somebody with debt who can be easily manipulated.

My personal take: When a voicemessage is automatically generated (easy to detect if the caller does not reference you directly by name; "Hello, this is Vincent Gray and I'm leaving this message for John Doe regarding his account with Gold's Gym"), or upon picking up the call there isn't a person immediately on the other end, then it's not important.

I tried calling Vincent back and all I get is a recording that states you must first dial a 1 or a 0 (?) before the area code to complete this call.  Never got through to find out their angle.  Hope I'm here next time to take the call.  They call several times a week!!

I get calls from this idiot on my cell phone and at my mothers house.
Same deal call this number and refer to case number so and so.
They are trying to collect on credit card debt that is over 10 years old so I don't even bother to answer.
Times up find someone else to bother.

i got 16 calls in 30 minutes from them...and when i have answered in the past nobody is there

I am on the no call list, but i still get this guy a few times a week for over a month.  I have never called back because I dont know him and he doesnt state his reason for calling me, or my name... i think it is probably some kind of a scam???  I hope it stops pretty soon.

The caller is a junk debt collector, one of the worst. It is Leading Edge Recovery Solutions, 5440,North Cumberland Ave. Suite 300, Chicago, IL 60656. They pull credit reports and try to find a debt even if it is out of the Statute of Limitation or you might not even owe it. Any money you send goes into their pocket and never to the supposed creditor. DON"T CALL BACK EVER.  What I have found effective with this slime is to just hang up or tell them they have the wrong number. Be careful because if you call back some of these junk debt collectors say you called back  to pay and the SOL starts all over again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
IF they write to you, ask for verification of the debt but I don't bother. I just send a cease and desist letter, you can find one on the FDPA.

Do not call!!!! Debt collector of the worst kind. Do not talk to them if they call you. Hang up! If they write< send a cease and desist letter> never call a debt collector back please!

Keep getting calls from this number from Vincent Gray daily as well. Next time I'll answer and ask them to stp calling now that I know what they want. Thanks!
