This company saved me from losing my retirment assets and they also helped me find my job. How is it a scam?

I feel completely different about this company.

Recieved call from this company today.  Recruiter from team is calling tomorrow to assist me with job search.  Meeting scheduled with Mr White for 2nd opinion for my retirement plan.  I will post to this thread later with my experience with this company

I received a phone message totdy 10/27, from this number stating that they were a recruiting company.  I scheduled an at-home interview with a 'financial advisor' to discuss 401K and other investment options.

Glad I found this before committing any information.

Mr. White is NOT a 'nice' man.

I had a meeting with Mr. Harper from Trident.  He gave me better retirement options than my advisor, who keeps loosing me money.  The thing that impressed me most he wasn't pushy.  The options he offered made good sense and I am confident will give me a sound retirement income.  Like most people I have lost a good share of my 401k and IRA and I am tired of seeing my saving disapear.  Having an option that guarantees not to ever loose money again sounds pretty good.  I would recommend talking to their advisor just to hear what they have to offer.

I received two vm from Paul Jones. With each message, he did not provide the name of his company. I I left a message w/ him and he did identify himself as being with trident. I googled it and came up with this site. I've burned through my 401K already, so I'll see what he says and let everyone know.

Got a call from "Ryan Thomas" who said he was from WSR & Associates.  He said to call him back at 1-866-942-8202 x111.  The callback number on my voicemail was 952-466-7028.  Then I started research...

I looked up "WSR & Associates" and there's a company in Miami by that name.  I Googled Area Code 952 and realized it was Minneapolis, so I looked up "WSR & Associates Minneapolis" and that Trident site came up (I saw the word Trident in some previous posts here).

Not sure what to think about this, but I'll call the guy back and if he starts to sound shady at, I'll just hang up.  Based on these previous posts, me thinks it won't be a long conversation.

Received a message from a Paul Jones from stating he was with WSR & Associates left his number as 866-942-8202 x106.  Looked up this company came up with a Miami listing...will call back and report who he is ..based on the previous posts does not sound positive

I received a call this morning from caller ID 952-466-7027 but "Darren Lee" asked me to return his call at 866-942-8202 x-103.  He said that it's concerning my resume.  I'm glad that I found this blog because I am not interested in getting involved in any kind of a scam regarding a job, my 401k, or any other of my accounts past, present, or future.  Thanks for your posts!

Geez, ain't the net GREAT!  Could never be able to share this info without it.  I have a number of resumes out, so I was excited to return this call.  Now, I'm a bit more concerned it might be a scam!

I got the call today.  Representing themselves as WSR & Associates.  And are really the Trident Group.  A little net searching and the alarm bells go off.  Don't trust your info (401K or personal) if they start off lying to you.  And they have a BBB rating of F.

I got a vm from "Seth Olsen" Personal Recruiting Consultant asking about my resume, from "WSR and Associates" he asked me to call 866-942-8202 ex 106.
Caller ID reported 952-466-7026.  I don't think I'm going to return his call.

I am the retirement planner for WSJ in the upstate.  WSJ is a recruiting company first.  Their leadership team determined after several years that many of their clients had no idea what to do with their 401k's.  Most of the time they made mistakes which cost them dearly.

My job is simple  - to make sure you never lose another dime in your retirement account.   I am 62 so I have been around.  I am very good at helping my clients avoid the retirement mind fields.  I will call you Friday.

Just got a call and they are NOT recruters they offer services for;
Retirement consulting
Interviewing skill improvement
Resume Writing improvement.

I am sure that these services are not free but I chose not to pursue them.

Just got a VM from "Julie" with WSR & Associates - let the 800-942-8202 number - ext. 111.  After reading these post, it sounds like they provide 401k investment advice..........in addition to some job search help.  It sounds like they use online posted resumes and sales leads for their services.......sounds like "buyer beware"

Thanks for you post just a hour or so ago........my call from WSR just can through 40 minutes ago.....I'm not wasting my time.  Companies that use online posted resumes as sales leads come across as sleazy to me.
