- Providence Medical Center replies to Providence Medical Center| 7 replies"Company" name ccsnotice.com - website seemingly bogus - obviously some type of phishing scam -
- AS| 3 repliesAlso calls from 866-945-4974, as seen on another site. Claims to be debt collector, directs recipient to www.warningnotice.com and tells them to enter an 11 digit number to access your file & info. Doesn't say who they're collecting for; no debt regardless. Site looks fishy. - Bob replies to Providence Medical CenterI got a series of calls from this number. My voice mail cut off the first part of the message, which said it was a bill collection call for [name, not mine]. I called the number back, got right through to an operator, and told them I didn't know such a person. The operator said she would remove the number from their system.
I suppose they could be a sophisticated scam that was simply looking to confirm that they had a working number that they could sell, but for now it seems like a legitimate, misdirected, collection agency. - Kelly Salmon| 1 replyIt was a recording saying it was to collect a debt it told me to go to this web. They call me every Saturday morning and wake up my son who has a brain injury, cp legally blind and is in pain 24/7!!!!!!! THEY SUCK WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE???????? Please help us

- angelica mthey keep calling my house every 15 minutes and never leave a message, but i refuse to answer it and be sucked into anything when i know it is bs.
- me replies to Kelly SalmonThey are a collection agecy and usually collect for medical providers like hospitals, clinics and ambulances. The website works if they give you all of the information. If you find out what the debt is I suggest you contact the original billing company to work out the bill. Especially if its an ambulance company, I sent my insurance information back to them 4 times and they still sent it to collections.
- auntybwarningnotice.com keeps calling my home and I cannot find the website except for complaints from MANY individuals.

- JIt sucks, never pick up such calls.
- BobTold me to log onto "warningnotice.com" and enter "05033687802" reference number. I have no idea who this is nor what they want with me. I don't find a wedsite that asks for a reference number. I have not debts in collection and they indicated that they are a debt collector.

- Thankful for these sites..| 2 repliesThey left a message on my husbands voicemail said they are CCS (credit collection services, they also gave his name (computerized), their phone number and website www.warningnotice.com and a file number. I did try it, not by the original way they contacted us (so, not to confirm a phone number) but by the file number and zip code. My husbands name came up and I continued. It brought me to a legit debt (in their opinion) of $25. for a medical bill. It is just a debt collector. If you don't owe anyone anything, you have nothing to worry about.

- Annoyedby CCS and Warningnotice.com replies to Providence Medical Center| 2 repliesThis company may be legit but they are unethical and completely rude. First they call me and dont answer. I hang up. They call back and dont answer again. I call them back and get a human operator who demands I give them my phone number and address. "Um why should give you my personal information", I ask the operator. The operator responds "if you want to know why we called you then give me your name address and phone number". So what the hell, I do, and she proceeds to tell me I owe them money from some old medical bills. Well, no, actually my insurance and the hospital made a billing error; now I have CCS and this corny operator being rude to me. Great, now, I have to sort this out to protect my credit score and identity.

These individuals have called me several times. They offered me a settlement on an outstanding bill. I have requested they send me a letter confirming the settlement and all pertinent information. I have requested this 3 times. All 3 times they claim the info was sent.
I suggest you send the following letter:
Mrs. (insert person't name or company)
I am writing in response to your (phone call or letter) dated (insert date). I do not believe I owe what you say I owe.
Therefore, in accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Section 809:
“(b) If the consumer notifies the debt collector in writing within the thirty-day period described in subsection (a) that the debt, or any portion thereof, is disputed, or that the consumer requests the name and address of the original creditor, the debt collector shall cease collection of the debt, or any disputed portion thereof, until the debt collector obtains verification of the debt or any copy of a judgment, or the name and address of the original creditor, and a copy of such verification or judgment, or name and address of the original creditor, is mailed to the consumer by the debt collector.”
I respectfully request that you provide me with the following information:
(1) the amount of the debt
(2) the name of the creditor to whom the debt is owed
(3) Provide a verification or copy of any judgment (if applicable)
(4) Proof that you are licensed to collect debts in Maine
Be advised that I am fully aware of my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. For instance, I know that because I have disputed this debt in writing within 30 days of receipt of your dunning notice:
1. You must obtain verification of the debt or a copy of the judgment against me and mail these items to me at your expense.
2. You cannot add interest or fees except those allowed by the original contract or state law.
3. You do not have to respond to this dispute but if you do, any attempt to collect this debt without validating it, violates the FDCPA.
Also be advised that I am keeping very accurate records of all correspondence from you and your company including recording all phone calls, which I now request you cease, and I will not hesitate to report violations of the law to my State Attorney General, the Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Bureau.
I have disputed this debt. Therefore, until validated you know your information concerning this debt is inaccurate. Thus, if you have already reported this debt to any credit-reporting agency (CRA) or Credit Bureau (CB) then, you must immediately inform them of my dispute with this debt. Reporting information that you know to be inaccurate or failing to report information correctly violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act § 1681s-2. Should you pursue a judgment without validating this debt, I will inform the judge and request the case be dismissed based on your failure to comply with the FDCPA.
Finally, if you do not own this debt, I demand that you immediately send a copy of this dispute letter to the original creditor so they are also aware of my dispute with this debt.

- Liz replies to ASHave been receiving notices through the phone from Credit Collection Services (CCS) with instructions to visit www.warningnotice.com for futher information. Called them at (866) 945 4977 (the number they left "if the intended party could not be reached at this (my) number") to try to find out more or to be removed from calling list. Turns out this was a LEGITIMATE attempt to collect a debt, one I was unaware of having been sent to collections. CCS identified me through my phone number (which they obviously already had been calling...) and ONLY asked me to verify my name - NO NEED TO GIVE OUT ANY OTHER SENSITIVE INFORMATION, ACCOUNT NUMBER, OR SS#. CCS informed me of the amount owed, as well as the date of services, which was useful information that further helped confirm the legitimacy of the claim.
Upon learning about this debt being out for collections, I called the company that I originally owed the money to and asked them to verify that the debt indeed HAD been sent to collections, the amount owed, AND the name of the collection agency. Everything added up perfectly, and I am now able to take care of this debt and get if out of the way, off my record.
P.S. The company I originally owed the money to did inform me, that usually accounts sent to collections are purged from their system, a fact that could make it difficult to obtain verification from some companies. However, I KNEW that I had utilized the (medical) services on the specified dates. - desiree martinezcalling for a Luz Velazquez that person doesnt have this number

- JscottyThis is silly. I know the economy is having trouble but you know times are REALLY bad when the collection agencies can't keep up with the demand. I don't mind talking to bill collectors. I will answer my phone or promptly return their calls but I find it insulting when an automated system calls me and then tells me I have to their website to see about it.
