    A representative named Lucy called our business saying she was from Xcel Energy.They have upgraded their payment charging/receiving process and an error has prevented our payments from processing correctly on their end. Supposedly, a notice was sent a month ago to upgrade. A ‘shut-off’ has been pinged to our account because of lack of proper payment.
    Okay, this particular business location has a sublease, so I do not get billed directly from Xcel - I pay a percentage each month for our share of the utilities, so I know this is a SCAM! In addition, I called the number back and the recording says" Thank You for calling your electric service provider". I have called Xcel Energy before and they ALWAYS say the company name. The term "electric service provider" just screams red flag
