Two calls after 10:00 pm on Sunday evening to my cell phone. The first call left a message saying, "Turn Left", the second call was answered and a voice said, "See you in hell". The return number is for Hotel 626 and is apparently some kind of promotion.  Not cool at all.

@ 10:58 exactly my girlfriend gets a call AFTER SHE HAD SOME DIFFICULTIES  WITH OTHERS recieves this shameless promotion way out of line stating if she wants to get out alive... she immediatley hangs up and burst's into tears.. after me checking the perimiters with a weapon the coast is clear and we leave and here i am tonight typing this.

i call the return # and its 866-945-7829 and its an answering machine stating hotel 626 and fades out with static..


this is not acceptable

around the same time I recieved the same call. Totally unacceptable!

The call came in 9:30 pm a young teen answers.... he was so frightened he hung up the phone refusing to repeat the words that were stated to him by the male voice on the other end. 10:05 the second call came this time answered by the blind mother.... A male voice asking her if she thinks she's going to make it out of the dark alive,then laughs this hideous evil laugh. In a frantic way of escaping the blind mother began to laugh hysterically... the call ends... she in turn calls her sister at work, the sister rushes home makes sure all is safe and calls the number back. This time a female voice on an answering machine clicks on and states "The number you have called is Hotel 626, it is either after hours or we are with another customer", then the sister hears a hideous evil laugh in a mans voice...with whispers in the background... the sister hangs up the phone.....

And here I am typing this for all to read... My blind sister and her children are very frightened. No one has a right to do this to another person... every one has fears..... what right do these people have to inflicted these fears upon others.... this isn't a game that should be played for someone will get hurt...( have a heart attack ), fear can cause a lot of harm.... what if a woman alone (just as my blind sister was with her children) so afraid and she gets a gun and it so happens her husband comes home early and with out her know it... he walks through the door and she kills him all due to the fact someone mad a prank phone call and frightened her. As I stated before "FEARS ARE FEARS"...... NOT COOL.

I'm just looking at this, and I thought some people should know.
Hotel 626 is an online game sponsored by Frito Lay.
(www.hotel626.com) It's a scary game, and  calling is probably meant to be a scare factor. This number calls you to give direction about what to do in the game.
It's not meant to be a prank, but some people get to chicken to put in THEIR phone number, so they type a random one in. This was probably your phone number, or someone you know.
I hope this helped with any fears that someone may have had.
By the way, I've played this game twice before; and just decided to look up the phone number.
I have never typed in a random phone number, so I would not be someone to blame.

i had something happen to me when i was younger that started with this guy making very real threats on the phone. scared the crap out of me,i was in 9th grade i called my boyfriend and he came checked outside and the woods behind my house (this guy knew everything, what i was doing, where i was and what i was wearing) anyway my boyfriend couldnt find him im guessing his gun and size scared the guy off. my boulyfriend stayed with me for weeks i would not leave his side. so when i got this call i felt like it was happening all over again. i now live with the same boyfriend (were 28  now) but i grabbed my gun and called him histerical. the first call no one was on the other line the second was a creepy guy saying  go down the hall or die. this was a cruel thing to do. whoever put my number in should punch themselvs in the groin or face!

This [***] called me saying some stupid [***] about hell. Where the [***] do people be getting our numbers from?

i got this phone call at 8:50 pm. i was totally freeked. cause the person said "if you want to live do as i say." me and my friend called the number and it said this is hotel 626 so we searched the number and we found this website. and we called are so called friend and he said he  did it we were really mad.

at about 10:10 pm the same person called and sed the same things like turn left turn right listen to me turn right it's right behind you listen to me.and i hung up and called back  and no one answer

This number called me too and it scared me to death. I thought someone was threatening my life. We called our police station but they didn't take us seriously. It's messed up how a food company could do this so openly.

It's a call for a game from Hotel626.com. It's more of a thriller game about ghosts made by Doritos, but don't expect to see floating doritos :P At one level, you're supposed to input your phone number if you want and they'll call you, telling you directions to go in the game. Someone must've put in your number and they called you. It's not Doritos fault. Someone just knew your phone number or they put in a random phone number.

I experienced this just now.  By coincidence, it happened to ring on my TracFone after I received a Blocked Call on my LAN line (presumably my ex, trying to waste time on me and ridicule me or whatever).  I hung up after he said "Turn left!"

I could tell it was [***].  I just hope I don't regret it in the future.

What kind of person does this?  I'm sorry to say this, but in this day and age, it's called "solicitation".

I received a call on my home phone that indicated there is not much time if you want to live down he hallway. It was in a creepy voice sounding like that of the "scream dude" or 976EVIL.  
I then receive a phone call on my cell phone that tells me to turn left same voice,

Yea.. Got the relatively same phone call.. I almost called the cops.. If this is solicitation, someone needs to be sued.
