Got a call from 866-947-8295 and it was a hang-up. I can't find any legitimate business for this number.

Keeps calling, no msg.

Keeps calling.  Won't leave message.

Keeps calling - either hangs up or no message.  Anyone have any ideas?

Calls several times per week, has some recorded "urgent" announcement.  How do we stop this?

Calls, then hangs up.  When I call back I either get "all circuits busy try your call again later", or a fax tone.

Repeated calls (3 thus far)from 1-866-947-8295.  Return calls to this number, after blocking my own caller ID, resulted in getting a busy signal.  Return calls to this number, without blocking my caller ID, also resulted in the constant busy signal. It can be assumed the organization behind 866-947-8295 does not want it's identity known unless it gets a successful connection and voice communication.  The caller behind this 866 number will not leave messages to a voice mail system.

This number called my house numerous times in one day. They kept asking for my husband. When I asked if they wanted to leave a message they said no message was necessary and immediately hung up the phone. They called again the next day and when I asked who was calling they told me Wells Fargo after some hesitation. I handed the phone to my husband. They were trying to sell him life insurance. They have called before and we have told them that we do not need life insurance from them. They were very persistent even with my husband telling them no. They called last year as well, so they are persistent until they talk to someone and then wait a while before they call back. It is really frustrating especially since they have been rude to me numerous times.

Thank you very much 'Annoyed'!  You are the first person with any information to this number.  I just went through a very similar situation, however, my teenage daughter answered the phone and described the same thing you wrote.  I spent quite a while trying to find information on line about that number with no luck until reading your complaint.  When I tried calling the number back, all I get is a message saying all circuits are busy - go figure!  Thanks for the insight of what we have to look forward to.  They will probably never get a hold of my husband during normal hours.  While our mortgage is with them, I do not appreciate harassment?  Do you do business with them or was yours just a random call?  Have you tried telling them to remove your name from their calling list?

I just got off the phone with my local Wells Fargo Branch.  My husband and I have an account with their bank.  We are on the do not call list, but since we have an account with Wells Fargo they can give out our information to other branches of Wells Fargo.  The people who keep calling are with the Life Insurance branch it looks like.  So what I did was call our branch of Wells Fargo and had them flag our account to only send information by mail....NO CALLS.  The only calls they can make to us are ones for important service calls on "our actual account" and during certain hours of the day.

These people called me in the middle of the day.  I answered after not recognizing the number on caller id.  They asked to speak to...me.  I said,"speaking".  They then proceeded to hang up the phone on me.  I thought it was strange. I called the number back to get a "phone disconnected" message.

They used to call about 6 months ago & it came up as Wells Fargo. Now it comes up unknown. They call several times a day & I hate it. We are supposed to be on the national do not call list!! We used to have an account with them, but we do not have it with them anymore. They won't leave messages & when I call back to tell them to stop calling, I get"all curcuits busy".

They keep calling and will only talk if you talk.They want an adult over 18 years old.They asked for my wife.......will not talk with a spouse.Pretend your the spouse and let them give you the spiel....They're trying to sell life insurance thru Wells Fargo. I intend to contact Wells Fargo and see if anything can be done to stop these harassing calls.They just keep calling.The people sound like high school age tele marketers,probably making minimum wage and maybe they get little bonuses.
THEY TELL YOU THE FIRST MONTH IS FREE.....NOW LET ME GET A LITTLE INFORMATION FROM YOU!
Could be people doing identity theft.DON'T TRUST THEM AND DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION.......NOT EVEN YOUR ADDRESS....GET CALLER ID. WRITE DOWN THEIR NUMBER AND DON'T ANSWER! These people are like the plague! Bad news!

It must be Wells Fargo for 866-947-8295.  I made the mistake of answering it and the lady said they were offering (selling) medical insurance that is better than my Premera policy.  How do they know I have Premera?  She did say she represented Wells Fargo.  Either this is a con or Wells Fargo has one helluva horrible marketing campaign going on.  I said "no thanks" and hung up, but we still get calls.

This is the most annoying thing.  I can not tell you how grateful I was to see the posts.  They call several times a day , it seems like everyday, for I dont know how long.  I also have a Wells Fargo Mortgage.  Just called and told them to remove me from ALL lists for anytype of contact except those related directly to my mortgage account.
