Harassing phone calls monthly asking for "Monica Thomas" Caller's name is Rick Laughlin

This person calls me every single day. Will report if calls again. Leaves a message but he/she doesn't speak. One of the messages consisted of just background voices and noise. I do not answer phone numbers I do not know, so I do not have any info about the caller although it sounds like a man was talking in the voicemail with the background noise.

Received call yesterday. Caller knew my name and old company name. I cut call short since I was in a meeting. Caller wouldn't give any of their information.

Asked for me to verify my birthday or last 4 of my social security number....think not and they didn't identify from which company they were calling from

Have received several calls on my cell from this number over the past two months. Lately it's been one call each day.  I DO NOT answer calls from numbers I do not recognize.  I put an AUTO REJECT for this number on my cell phone.

I so not know who this number is but I am positive it is either a collection agency or a law office. They started calling the same time I started receiving messages requesting to speak to the last person who had this phone number. The messages said it was a law office but when I use to get a bunch of other calls for the same that had my phone number last, they would all be from collection agencies.

Calls every other day! I got a new number from AT&T and for an entire year keep getting phone calls to the previous owner of this number! So damn annoying! If they are debt collectors looking for these ppl, why do they think they have the same number? These ppl change their numbers! I got their number from AT&T and it's a old used number that has collectors after them!

Just got a call too. Did not pick up, not the first time they have called either.

Started receiving calls from this number on March 20, 2015.  The frequency is increasing.  It's a woman (from what sounds like a call center) who identifies herself but no company or purpose.  She asks me to verify my birthday.  I tell her to remove me from their list but she persists.  I've had this AT&T number for 15 years without issue.  Looking above, it seems like others with AT&T numbers are having similar issues.  Pattern?  I spoke with local police who referred me to the Federal Trade Commission complaint web site.  Don't know if it will help.  Probably can't hurt.  Web site is www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov.

No, you don't 'work with' strangers on the phone on anything related to your money!  You don't have any obligation to talk with people on the phone about anything!

If you don't know anything about a debt and haven't even gotten a bill in the mail, then there is no debt!  Don't speak with callers like this.  Don't return their calls.  Don't reveal anything - even your name.

The fake debt collectors who called me never spoke with anyone, never got a callback, and never sent a bill in the mail.  I blocked their number, and they stopped calling after five years.

Lenny has a bit of a problem with his phone, and his hearing - it's not so good. So, a telemarketer thoughtfully put his manager on with Lenny so that his manager could explain the whole entire program.

(That's pretty funny!  Poor Lenny).

I also get a call nearly every day and wish this person could get some help. I never hear any noise on the phone. I just don't answer the call anymore. Can someone help us with these annoying calls? Thanks if you can!!!

Got  a call from a wan at this number. Asked to verify my date of birth. I told her no, I'm not giving my personal information out due to not knowing who you are.

She gave me some name really fast. (All I heard was recovery) I've dealt with collections before and NEVER had to verify my birthdate before they told me who they were and who they were working for.

Same story. I informed them that I will not give out my personal information over the phone.
They replied that they cannot discourage phone calls without proof of who they are talking with.
I offered to let them speak to my legalshield attorney. They informed me that they can stop the calls on their end.
Sounds like a scam.

These people are scam artist!!! Not real collection agency! Had to learn the hard way! Plz don't give them your personal info...they collect your name and info from a third party source but try to scam you using your own identity against you! Pleas listen to this!

this number called my cell today. When I answered, there was 10 seconds of dead air, the very load elevator music. No one ever came on the line.
