Call came from 708-833-8868, but said to call them back at 866-952-6247 x100 (message on my answering machine).  He said I was a finalist in the drawing I had entered for a Lincoln Navigator or a Ford Explorer.  I don't remember entering any drawings and they never said the name of the person they were calling for.  He said it would be beneficial for me to call him back.  I think he said the name was Tom Penn.  He never said what company he was calling for or to whom he wanted to speak to.  New gimmick?  No, I didn't call back.

Same as Deb above. Caller id said Mid Marketing.

Same message left on our answering machine. Never entered such a contest. Sounds bogus. Not following up.

My experience was exactly the same -- even the name, Tom Penn.

Jerry Day is from Externsiion #100 asking me to call him back at 1-866-952-6247. He says that I am a finalist!  I must call that very day................

The next day and other person is telling me to call back to him becausue I have won a SUV. I am requested to call 708-283-2595 to calim the SUV

I would not ever want a SUV!  This is all interesting, for our phone is listed in a fictious name!

same thing 708-833-8868 leaving a message about winning a vehicle and to call 866-952-6247 ext 100 his name was Tom Penn - someone should be able to take care of these kinds of pranks.

Got a call from Illinois 708-833-8868, told to call 866-952-6247 Ex. 100 and ask for Tom Penn. Also said we won a SUV.   My 90 year old mother got the same call yesterday.  I happened to be at her home and answered the phone.  I tried to speak to the person, but realized that the voice is recorded.  Pretty obvious this is a scam of some kind.  Won't waist my time calling.

I love this website!!  I like the others recieved the same phone message everyday for a week first from Jerry Bay and then from a girl.  Being a retired deputy I knew it was a scam...but not everybody knows about these things...this web site is a great tool and it helps weed out scams!

I recieved the same exact call as listed above on my answering machine.  The name that was used was Jerry Bay.  Interesting the call came from (708) 833 8824.  I did call back because I had entered a contest on the Ford Mo Co website at one point this year.  When I called the call was forwareded to a voice mail of (708) 248-5655, and the vm was full.  I would agree this is a scam.

Why won't anyone call me back! It is a nice SUV.

Got a call today from Bill Rex - was told a had 48 hours to return their call to 952-6247 ext. 100 (no area code - assume it was a local call).  I was told I could also call 866-952-6247.  When I googled the 866 number, I discovered this website.  I had no intention of calling them back - I never call numbers back when the caller doesn't detail what the call is about.

I also have a message on my answering machine from Bill Rex (? when they spelled it out it sounded like Rus).   Thank goodness for Google!!  Not that I would have fallen for it anyway....

Was told to call back to this 866 #.  Call came in on 708-833-8796 which caller ID said was Hugo Alvarez.  Guy said he was Jerry Bay at this 866# + X100.  As my number is unlisted and is on the do not call list I am reporting this call to FTC/FCC.  I suggest we all report this as it is an obvious fraud and they will do something about it.

I received the call this morning around 10:00 am.  I just got home a few minutes ago and I did call back....no one answered.  The message left was exactly as stated above about being a finalist for n new Navigator.  He left his name as Bill Rex and to call back asap at 866-952-6247 extension 100.  Even if I was home I wouldn't have answered it.

Got not other hits on other WhoCalled sites, until ran a straight Google for the number (866 952-6247), then I got this site.  I will definately use this site as a resource in the future - that is unless I find that these calls are related to this site?!

I got a call from a Bill Rex he left me a number to call 1-866-952-6247 ext 100 saying I won a car.  I dialed *67 to block my number and called the 866 number, it just rang and rang then went to a mailbox that was a diffrent number.

I wish someone would have answered cause I have a ear full to give them.

This is a scam. thaey said the same thing on my answering machine. for a tom vay...I trace the 7082485655 back to a charles smith out of chicago heights IL. I never entered to win anything

I got the call too.  Didn't call back.   Who wants one of those gas hogs anyway?
