Today I received a letter with that number listed to take advantage of "free airline tickets"  The envelope was postmarked from Phoenix, Arizona.  There was no return address.  My name was hand printed on the envelope.
The letter was on plain paper.  In bold letters on the top it listed United Airways.  
Don't know what the scam is for this one.

Got the same letter yesterday as well .. when I call the number I get an english (UK style that is) accented woman who claims to be from the "award division"

I smell scam that needs to be watched carefully

I got the same letter,  (not United Airlines)  but United Airways is a Bangladeshi private airline headquartered in Uttara, Dhaka and also   Jane Cae vice president was good enough to have signed it.  I wonder what else   the award center had to say ? Regardless  unless your ready to buy something or have reason for a trip wihin Bangladeshi this is a scam.

Received the same letter, said they had been trying to contact me. No one ever called before though.
Didn't try calling.

Got the same letter, typed in "united airways scam" on Google, and found a lot of people have gotten these same letters, from Phoenix, but signed by different names, Jane Cae, Jan Cane, Jane Can. Stay away from these scammers, don't get parted from your hard earned money. The number on my letter said to call 1-866-955-1622

Same here.  United Airways, Jane Cae Vice President, 1-866-955-1623, Phoenix, AZ postmark.  Didn't try calling either.
