Anyone else receive this?

For me, when I see "866" and "UNKNOWN NAME," all I've got to say is "No . . . No . . . No."

Called every ten min. for the last hour!
I don't have the nerve to answer and say "Police Dept., what is your emergency?" as I have heard others do, and they never get another call from the number!  
I hope they get the message, that I am not EVER gonna answer them.  At least they could leave a message, if it's that important.  They hang up before the "leave a message" message is finished, so I get a dial tone for the message.

I have been getting the same phone calls as well, who are these people

I think it's a collection agency.  Asked for "Louis Geldoss".  Lots of background noise.  I only answered after they called 3 times.  I'll post again if they call back...

I receive calls from this number several times per day.  They mask as a collection agency when in reality they are a telemarketer that is trying to sell services to try and lower your interest rates on cards, loans, etc.  They have nothing to do with any accounts you have.

If you find how to stop them let me know because they always hang up and I only caught them once on recording stating the above.

I get a call from this number at least twice to three times a week. Every time I pick up the phone they immediately hang up. I tried to call this morning and the number is disconnected. I'm at a point when I see their number, I hang up first. Like everyone else, if you find out who they are and how to stop them please let me know.

Have called 5 times before noon today.  Left "message" on voice mail: DIAL TONE!!!

Don't answer, because they only want to see if a live person is at the number.  Sell our "live person answers" numbers on lists to other jerks for $$$!

Please stop calling my number

I have been getting A LOT of calls from this number for the last 3-4 days (up to 8 per day)!!!
I answered today and said "Quit Calling This # !!!" - I heard a girl's response saying "Really?"
as though she was Surprised.  I called back and spoke with a seemingly nice guy and told him
to please take my number off their list.  

I asked who they are and what they do; they an 'old' car warranty company. Can't remember their name
but he did start trying to "sell" me something!  I told him my car wasn't worth it!

scam artist dont answer its not worth the time just a bunch of dead beats without a real job looking to scam money out of good people....rodney

these piss-ants call every hour, it's allied auto warranty - wouldn't buy from them even it i wanted ther service now!!

Came up on my cell as No Name. I don't pick up on numbers I don't recognize. If its important, I figure they'll leave a message. I take down the number and come to this website. It will take time and much patience, but as long as you don't pick up, the callers will eventually call less frequently. Its a lot less stressful to just ignore the call rather than picking up and trying to deal with it.

    these people told me that i was lying about how many miles i had on my car. i just would like for them to  stop calling my house. how do they get our numbers?
