UNKNOWN CALLER

Another website has I.D.'d this number as a telemarketer called "College Education Funding".  They left no answer.

Three days in a row, call at 9:00 pm, leaves no message On the 4th day answered and no one there

Called two days in a row, no message.

I never answered because i didn't know who it was, but they called me twice so far and both times they left no message...>:\

Tele-Marketing for College related funding! But they don't answer anymore, and it is dead air on the other side.

It's sounds very shade the call very bad reception a couple of times they called unknown this time it had a number (866) 978-0525
College of some sort they have called me at 9pm and I let them have it. When I tell them am not interested they don't apologize just hang up. Tried call the # back to complain it won't even go through

I get a phone call from these people EVERYDAY, they don't speak English very well, and I don't understand them. I've told them repeatedly to remove my name and phone number off of their list and they refuse to do so. Instead, they say they "will not remove my number, and will call me more everyday" and today had the nerve to make perverted comments. And, also, it's the same man every day because I recognize his voice. I tried to ask him where he company was calling from, and he said he wasn't calling from any company. I get a call everyday, either from that 866 number, or unknown but it's always the same person. Does this happen to anyone else?

Modern technology has given telescammers the tools to call you.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore both the Do Not Call list and any request you might make.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The most effective thing to do is to get a call blocker device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.

Google "call blocker" for more information, or visit Amazon or similar sales site.

If you cannot afford or use such a tool, then:
* Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
* Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers!  All that does is verify your phone number!  And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.

* If you have a "dumb" cell phone, assign the scammer's number to a group named "scammers" (or similar).  Then, assign a silent ringtone to that group.

I did not attend it because it was not known to me. I am afraid to attend unknown numbers. No message was left. ANOTHER PHONE NUMBER CALLED ME ON MY PHONE NUMBER WAS 202-506-9726, CLAIMING IT FROM "IRS" and third number 518-576-6428, I picked the phone nobody talked and after while got disconnected. I am being harassed.

This has happen to me too when I asked them to remove me from their listing.  The guy on the other end was rude and was very perverted too.  I would hang up the phone just for this [***] to call me back and curse me off.  He called back about a dozen times to a point where I blocked the number.  But guess what,  that didn't stop him.  He called my cell phone number after that, but made one small mistake.....he never blocked his number.   So you know what I did next, I started calling him.   Gotta love Karma :)

Keeps calling me to when I call back it says all circuits are busy   I know there has been another break out of scammers calling and if you answer the charge your phone bill. I was just informed to watch my phone bill.

This number keeps calling

I have recieved five calls in the last three days. Three calls today. I never answer and caller never leaves message. Tried calling from a land line but i get a busy signal every time.

I keep getting called, but never answer 888 or 866 numbers... They left no message.

This a$$hole has been callinge for the last two days at 950pm. What a douche. Won't even say a word when I answer. Get Mr.Number and blocked the 866 number, unknown and private numbers. This is a free app and does work!

This number just called, I answered. I said hello three times and recording said "Goodbye" and the call was hung up.

Im sick and tired of receiving calls from this number. The only thing it says is good bye. I'm tired of it. Its REALLY REALLY ANNOYING!!

I receive about 5 calls a day lately from this number.  Always a hang up!  No message, no way to call back, no way to escape the constant disruption of home!  Call at 8 AM - 10 PM.  7 days a week and Labor Day.

Yep... Got the same call.  Asked the guy to remove and he automatically hung up the phone before I could finish.  Guess this is not the 1st time.... for him.   His calls continues....

2 Options:  
1) Block this number

The more complaints they receive about this, the quicker the priority they would give to handling the situation
