I also had multiple calls from this number with no message

Had a voice computerized message from this number saying there was intentional misconduct on my taxes. SCAM

Also had a voice computerized message that said I needed to call and rectify a financial situation immediately. I called the number and got a guy -  the same guy each time - with a heavy Indian accent saying he was an officer with the Internal Revenue Service. SCAM

This number called me telling that I was defrauding the IRS. This is NOT the IRS. It is a scam that tries to scare you into paying these people money. When you call this number back, it will be answered by somebody with a thick Indian accent.

Scam!  Do not answer or return call.  The location of this robocaller has been identified.  Agents have been dispatched to deal with it.

Same as above, got a voicemail from this number with a robot voice saying "after August we found that there was a fraud and misconduct on your tax with you are hiding from the federal government." The grammatical incorrectness was my first tip-off that this was not legitimate. Definite SCAM.

This number has called and left a voice message saying this "Criminal investigation division of irs the matter at hand is extremely time sensitive and urgent has after all of it. We found that there was a fraud and misconduct on your tax. Which you are hiding from the federal government this needs to be rectified immediately so do return the call as soon as you receive the message the toll free number is +1-866-978-6618. I repeat again +1-866-978-6618. Thank you."
I didn't even bother to call back since I know without a doubt it's a scam. Be careful folks, too many scammers nowadays. I'm going to report this number to the IRS today.

Got a call saying they are the IRS and they have found fraud, hiding information from the IRS, I needed  to call them as soon as possible. Yea, right. Does anyone ever read this with authority to do something about these scams? Hope so.!!!

SCAM! I didn't answer the call and they left a voicemail claiming To be the IRS and that I was involved in tax fraud that I was hiding from the government . LOL. At least make it believable

I just received a call from this number 866-978-6618.  This  is definitely a scam because I know I have not committed fraud on my taxes, which is what the message indicated.

Same old story you are in trouble with the IRS when you call back is a man with an Indian accent has to be a scam.

Fake IRS scam call to try to collect money from you.  Automated message claiming "there was a fraud or misconduct on your tax which you are hiding from the federal government"

these people called me twice today.  Said I have cheated on my taxes. Call them back immediately.  Of course I did not.
