- LindaThis number called my business today, saying he was from Southern California Edison and I had to make a payment to keep my power on. I told him I knew he was a fraud and not from the power company. He hung up.

They called first saying they were from SDGE but we have So Cal Edison. Told me they had driver on the way to our business to shut power off and that we needed to make cash payment at payment center like Vons. We called so cal Edison directly to make sure and at the same time the guy called me back asking if we made payment yet. When I told him we were on the other line with So Cal Edison he hung up on me. I still don't know how they would have received our money when we are making a payment to a payment center using our account number but I'm just grateful we didnt fall for this.- Caller: SDGE

- RosemaryJust had the exact same thing happen to me as what happened to Beth. As I was rushing down to Albertsons, I had my daughter look up this number and she say it was a scam. I then called SoCal Edison and of course my account was current. While I was rushing down to Albertsons - this guy called literally every 2 minutes. The last time he called I told him I knew it was a scam and he hung up.

- Unsuspected Senior| 1 reply866-978-6925 called as an FPL Spanish agent, indicating that FPL was going to suspend my electricity for 45 minutes for lack of receiving payment for the last two months. They asked what were the amounts paid, and that I would be receiving instructions of how to correct this problem and not have the electricity suspended. Called FPL, and turned out to be a scam, very sad that Spanish-speakers are fraudulently scamming other Spanish-speakers.
- Caller: Supposedly FPL
- HankThey called me for the second time in three years saying our power is being shut off in 45 minutes. Again saying they were Key's Electric (calling on Presidents day. Yeah right!) Scammers
- Caller: "Keys Electric"
- Call type: Prank
- Hank replies to Unsuspected SeniorI know really. They should only be ripping off the Gringos. How dare they.
- WendyCaller said he was Mike from Fort Bragg Power. When I told him I never heard of his company before there was silence so I hung up on him. I didn't give him a chance to lie about us having our power turned off if I didn't give him a payment by credit card. This is not my first rodeo nor is it my first [***] call about immediate payment needed to keep our power on. BULLSH*T. We have an auto draft from our bank account. There is no way EVER that we would be behind in paying PG&E.
- Caller: Fort Bragg Power?
