Caller claims to be from Microsoft and says my windows7 is corrupt and will guide me through downloading some software to repair my pc.  Do not fall for this.  Microsoft does not call people.  They first call from a private # and when asked for a number to verify them they give you the toll free #.

Scam artists claiming not to be scam artists.  This is the number they give when I asked them if I could call them directly at Microsoft to verify they weren't scam artists.  I wish these people a painful death.

Hacker! Claims calling from Microsoft tech support. Will ask you to run event viewer in your pc. Then after showing what it seems an unusual amount of errors in the event viewer will tell you that your p is infected. Will ask then to download Teamviewer (a remote control pc program). Will try to sell you a license to clean your pc. The caller is highly skill and will behave exactly like a tech call.

The same scammers called me from this number and tried to get me.  WRONG!

A "John Smith" called from a caller ID number of 500-23. He said my computer was going to crash and that he was a Microsoft tech support rep and that they received an error message from my computer.  He then said I needed to call 1-866-978-7103 and give him my Windows software serial number. I told him I would have to call him back - NOT!!! Why doesn't Microsoft go after these freaks?

I let them use Team Viewer, but they told me that they have to work on my computer for 2 hours, and I didn't let them. what should I do about them ?
