- FrankieGot a call from this # but only half a message. Same thing wanted to Verify my resume. I did not call back !!
- TracyReceived a call from that number. A message left by a male voice said they were with Career Motors and wanted to verify my resume because there were job openings in my area. Called back and got a recording to hold for the next available representative. I hung up.
- Caller: Career Motors?
- VASA man named Damian called from this number. He wanted to verify my resume was the message he left. His voicemail said they were employment verification specialist. The female person that answered when I called back had a canned speech and could not answer questions pertaining to it. Sort of stutter-stumbled and told me the number I was calling from as though that made her legitimate. Could not tell me anything about the resume she claimed to be verifying or what type of work I did or that they provide.

- kajenwyzard| 3 repliesthey are called Career Movers or Moovers and I finally got through to a Representative and she was friendly. They work with Career Builders.com

- SugarGot the call not once but twice over two weeks. They left a message stating that they want to verify my resume that was recently uploaded ... a year and a half ago. As I cannot imagine anyone pulling up an old resume as such for employment I assumed it was not legit and did not call back. Additionally this call started right after a Caribou, Maine prank finally stopped calling after the 4th time. That one was in reference to diabetic health insurance. I am not diabetic. Too coincidental that they are calling back to back.

- Aldo Renato| 2 repliesI got the same telephone message about "wanting to review my resume" and getting the toll free number 866-992-7001. I immediately did a Yahoo! and Google search on both the name "Career Movers" and the phone number. This appears to be a branch of Career Builder with the same variety of jobs. I already get Career Builder along with at least three other job boards. There is so much redundancy from those that I don't need another job board!!! I didn't call back!!! I did keep the number in case they get persistent in their calls and I have to call the B.B.B. or the authorities.

- LHardy| 2 repliesI actually called back and after being asked to hold by an automated message, spoke with an employee based in Charleston, SC who just verified my phone number, e-mail address and zip code, and asked if he could e-mail me with log-in information for his company's website www.careermoovers.com. Sure enough a minute later, I got the e-mail and signed on to see what it's all about. It's basically a website that gathers job postings from other websites (indeed.com, etc.) and displays the results to job searches. I don't think it's necessarily a scam, but I do think it's redundant if you already search for jobs on the more popular sites.

- AndyHave been receiving many calls from the same number. The automated machine has been leaving messages saying they want to do employment verification. Finally decided to call back. Spoke to an "Adam" and he was friendly and courteous. I told him I have a full time job and please remove. He said he will right away.
Looks like they are a recruitment company and they are called Career Movers.- Caller: Career Movers
- Jerry| 1 replyI just received a call from this "Career Movers". The message left was generic enough to raise some flags but not enough to call back. If they have my resume, they could at the least, refer to me with my name. The above posts tell me not to bother calling them back. BTW, an earlier poster wrote that this Career Movers worked WITH Career Builder, I seriously doubt that is the case.

- one_timeI called 866-992-7001, got a recording, then the lady said our database is so huge that we cannot possibly know where we lens out your resume. She also said that she was calling from a penile institution for inmates, and convicts but apologized for bringing as she put it "shame to the game".

- JeffJust got a message from 866-992-7001, a male voice indicating an employment opportunity. When I called the number back, I got a very confused person with a government agency in Arizona, who had no idea what I was talking about.
Very strange. - affiliated w/"Resume Clicks"(apparently)| 6 repliesHello,
These calls sound familiar to the phone call I received the day after I setup an account with careerbuilder.ca. Lady called saying she was from "Resume Clicks", and wanted to verify some information. Her first question was "are you currently employed?" I responded by asking her about Resume Clicks, and who is this organization associated with. She says there are many affiliations., but couldn't give me a name, just for an example. Really fishy, that someone wants to verify the profile that I filled out online. And if I left the profile blank, exactly what incentive would Careerbuilder.ca have to call me to update it. the number on the phone was 514-907-9612 (Montreal). I really hope it's worth the accumulating long distance bill to call me, rather than send me an email, which I would never respond to the email anyways. I'd go directly to the site via google search, and login from there. Some scammers out there are undervaluing its victim base.
boo hoo scammers, no spending spree for you. - Zach KleimanHuge scam. They are using an outside mailer program to hit our inboxes. I tried to search their parent company and found they were gottahire.me before they were careermoovers.com. They are scouring the web looking to get people to sign up and sell your information. There is no option to opt out of e-mails, no way to contact the company directly. Signs point directly to fraud. I've taken steps to report all their information and I hope it can get shut down soon.
