Received a phone call from 866-992-7379, representative John, and was informed that they he was with OSHA/DOL Compliance and our business was required to purchase safety video's and other safety required items to be incompliance with the Federal Governments regulations, at a cost of $499 and certify all of our employees as well as have a fall pro kit that resulted in a total due of $674.98.
Called OSHA directly after phone call and was informed that OSHA does not charge for any of its material and never will charge for the material they provide.
Please be aware of this phone # and scam. Do not purchase or provide informatin without calling to verify the info given by this company states due to they will lie to get money via misrepresentation.

Scam telemarketer left 2 messages.  The first time he was Eli Conner and the second time he left the name of Eli Thomason, both with the return number of 866-992-7379.  The number he called me on was my cell telephone, which is listed only one place as we have a business number.  I'm certain that he obtained the number from the public listing on the State of Oklahoma web-site which gives the information for current licensed roofing contractors in Oklahoma.  Other contractors in Oklahoma have reported being called as well all on the numbers listed with agency.

Every one associated with OSHA in their offices is listed by name on their web-site.  None of them were Eli Conner or Eli Thomason.  OSHA stated all their materials are free of charge.

Eli Thomas with OSHA Compliance - I asked do you mean OSHA - He said OSHA Compliance - you do know who OSHA is don't you - etc. etc. trying to intimidate me.

I can say with the OSHA people I've dealt with that OSHA does not operate in this manner.

Called from 866-684-9805 but gave number to call back 866-992-7379

Got the same message and same phone numbers as Joey did.
Callers mane was Steve Thomas.

The message was the same as above...an Eli MacDonald called about OSHA compliance.  "I need you to call me at my office at 866-992-7379" was what he said.  I'm glad I checked here.

This is a private company called SAFETY SERVICES" located in Phoenix, AZ. They sell printed materials etc... so you can hold "safety meetings" with your employees and sub-contractors, so that you stay in compliance with all of the OSHA regulations.

The company is legit but their telemarketing practices are NOT. They called and left us a message
saying this is "Phil Wiess, Compliance Coorinator" ... He tried to make it sound like an "official" type call.

We called them back and they tried to sell us about $400 worth of printed materials & tests so we could hold safety meetings as stated above. They even mailed the first set out to us to look over.
We returned the materials because of the misleading telemarketing calls that kept coming.

Bottom line. If you are going to sell something...be HONEST about who you are & what you are selling!

Got the same message. I'm a self employed individual with no employees. Thought this sounded strange. Glad I checked here. Won't call back Eli Cooper with OSHA Compliance.
What can be done to put a stop to these annoying leeches?

Mine was from Dan Miller he said I needed to comply with a training program. He left the message on my machine. As a cautious individual I always check on this type of situation before I respond

Someone called and left a message saying we had to call them about our OSHA compliance.  He said is name was Eli Cooper 866-992-7379.  Googled it, found these posts,  have not bothered to call back.

Someone called from 866-992-7379 and said his name was Dan McGraw. His message said to call about our OSHA compliance. Glad I found this post before caling back.

Eli Cooper 866-992-7379.  He said "I need you to call me regarding your OSHA compliance and meetings, etc."  I could tell they guy is a fraud... sounds like a real loser.  I wish I had a loud horn!

Just received the same message (800 Service)  to call (cawl)  Don Johnson back regarding  our business  safety meeting, at 866.992.7379.  ID number was 866-684-9805. He had a fellow Tennessee southern drawl. I smelled a scam from the jump because  I don't have a business.

Received a call today saying we need to call Tommy Walker regarding our company being OSHA compliant.  Caller sounded somewhat arogant so we googled the number first.  Of course ---SCAM.  Thanks to everyone posting!  866-992-7379

I received the same call from the same guy Tom Walker..said he wanted to speak with the owner about Osha safety compliance.  I informed him he was calling a private home line and to please loose the number.  He hung up.  Big time SCAM!!!!!!!

Recieved a message on my answering machine from Bill Shaffer about a safety meeting. Sounded like we had spoken before but never have! I read the posts and we had a business 10yrs ago & must have gotten number from a list thats been sold many times over. The caller id was 866-6849805. Thank you for posting about this & so glad I looked up this number. Thank you Spokeo for having a free srevice for situations like this & if I ever need a paid service this wiil be my first choice!!

I received the same message and returned the call. I am glad i did because i was hit by O.SH.A. that week and if i had not had their material i would have had a huge fine. That call saved me thousands.

I got a very serious sounding message from "Derreck Taylor"... "I'm supposed to call you about your safety meetings", then he left a call back number of 866-992-7379.

I could easily id this as a scam.

It amazes me that with the information being exchanged here that we as consumers don't have some support from someone with the authority, like the Better Business Bureau- or another governmental agency to regulate these [***] out of business. It's unfair to receive a call like the one I did. And I get too many just like it.
