    Timeshare Fraud
This company is a fraud.  This company wanted a credit card over the phone for $500 to sell my time share.  I was contacted by a person going by the name of Darlene Milano from Vacation Sales and Marketing from (866) 993-8726 and she also lists (386) 868-5902 in her email (which today is: dmilano@cfl.rr.com).  She emailed me a BBB report for another company by the same name.  The phone numbers and physical address don't match up.  The phone number listed in the BBB report for the company they pretend to be is a phone sex service.

I got a call from a Ray Lipton at 347-599-2122 who want $1284 & gave a six month guarantee.  He said they were in biz for 12 years & had 13 offices across country.  He said he worked out the Manhattan ofc.  I spent quite a bit of time researching & found absolutely nothing on any BBB.  I did manage to find domain name registered on April 6,2008 with an admin contact of D Crosby in Daytona Beach 32114.  No biz listed there, no biz listed in St Mary's, Ga a town of less than 9000.  Reverse searched Ray's # and came up with Alisa Buselli in Brooklyn, a landline.  Ray told me this was his cell phone.  Looks like another fraud, thanks for your postings.

I find these comments very shocking. I listed my property with Vacation sales and marketing, located in St Mary's, GA. and it sold within 3 weeks. I had listed it with I dont know how many companies, but they were kind, and informative, and I decided to take one more chance. It was the best decision of my life, I made 9,000 dollars off of my 1 bedroom timeshare. There are alot of scandelous companies out there, but I assure you all from personal experience, this is no scam. And I recently spoke with them about the misleading phone number on the BBB page, and it turns out it is a mistake by the BBB. It is currently being worked on and should be fixed by the time anyone reads this. I confirmed this with a Mrs. Gladis Page at the BBB. Good luck with whatever decisions you make.

Thanks to All, I was contacted by someone named Trish on several occasions.
I asked and was told that they were registered with the BBB but I could find no listing. I sent an email on their website as an inquiry and got no answer. the Website is very simply constructed and offers no confirm-able data. The phone # is 912-225-9568.

I just got a call from Ray Lipton.  He gave me his cell ( 347-599-2122 ) but when I tried to call back there was no answer.  They had emailed me the sample agreement from their web site and a false BBB report.  I went to the bbb.com site and found they are listed as an "F".

Funny thing is I went to 1 site to tell them I want to sell my timeshare and suddenly I get all these calls from different scammers.  Here is what I don't get:  Why they insist on getting money before sending me a contract.  They tell me "I will fedex this package to you today...sign it and send it back...and its all good.  Now which credit card do you want to put that on?"  I told them I won't pay until I see the contract and they send me the junk sample that is bogus.  I don't know of any other business that expects payment before a signature.

Has anyone had success selling your timeshare?  If so how???

VSAM appears to be a SCAM but I'm patiently trying to work with them to obtain my refund (as of 6/21/09)... Here's the story.

I received the contract as agreed (Aug '08), provided my deposit ($300) as requested.. After 180-days, I requested my refund as they'd promised.  They required me to send a certified written letter via postal service before they would process my refund.  I sent the letter, followed-up with a phone-call --since the lines were busy, requested a call-back.  Never received call-back so called until I spoke with someone.. The short-story is that I keep getting the request is being processed in our legal dept. and will take 4-6 weeks then we sent the money-order and you should receive it or call back.. I am tired of the excuses but am very persistent.

If you have to sell your timeshare.. Don't use these clowns...

I received a call from Suzy McCoy of the St Marys, GA office, stating the same thing I read above. I have already been robbed from http://intervalsale.com/, they guaranteed a refund after 6 months and will not give me my money back. I want to sell my timeshare but I do not know who to trust. I am already fighting for $800 I spent already with Interval. There are conflicting views on this blog about Vacation Sales Marketing.  Suzy McCoy didn't seem like your average slick talking telemarketer. She seemed sincere and honest. She did say they they were once in Laguna Hills, CA but have since relocated to Georgia.  She also said that they do have satellite offices around the U.S. but that they do not work out of an apartment.  Maybe some of the satellite offices do. I want to find a reputable company. When I see that some people have actually sold their property through Vacation Sales Marketing...that gives me hope.
