Fraudulent number, don't call back

Received a message form Bob Jones with Work Save Retire at 866-994-0381. Internet search turned up : worksaveretire.ning.com. They advertise as offering help with internet job searches and other job search startegies including interview tips.

I recieved a voice mail call on my cell from a Bob Jones also, I believe he got my number from a resume I posted on a job search site.  I am getting all kinds of calls and emails from just such places as described above from posting my resume online.  Now we have to get harrassing calls when we are trying to just find a job?

Great, I called it back.  I should have looked here first. When you say fraudulent, how do you mean?  What will happen since I called it back???

I too received a call from Bob Jones concerning questons about my resume.  The caller just didn't sound legit.  Especially after saying that he found my resume posted on the internet.  I personally keep a file of all the jobs where my resume is being posted, reviewed and general responses.

Same call, they gave me a recruiter who gave me access to resume software and a job finder gadget that have really helped me with my search.  The recruiter has also been helping me with strategies for my search that have really been working.  Still dont have a job but I've had several interviews and much more response out of my resume.

Look up Trident group or WSR both are scams.

They have an F from the BBB and have changed names numerous times.

Received voice mail from Bob Jones with Work Save Retire re: questions about my resume....it's crap.

I tried the reverse phone lookup, then seeing comments about worksaveretire.
The number they used is 619-600-0626
First, I answered the phone and a voice message said " This is a very important message. Please wait".
I thought it might have been some bill collector, so I waited.
Then, the operator told me how great they are at help finding a job.
Their recruiting process is the best, etc
They told me how their search system was better than any other, etc. blah blah blah,
Then she kept pressing me to setup an appointment with some financial expert.
She said it was "No Pressure".
Yeah right.

Yeah same thing as everyone else.  Some guy named Bob Jones from Work Save Retire with an almost automated sounding voice said he saw my resume online.  Just didn't sound right to me so I tried reverse number look up on several sites and nothing.  Like they don't even exist.  My caller ID said the call came from a cell # 704-612-2477.  Just want a job not to be scammed or sold something.

Bob Jones called me twice about my resume. I think that Work Save Retire just helps you rewrite your online resume. I do not know if a fee is involved or not.

It sounds like someone just trying to prey on desperate people who are trying to find a job in this horrible job market.

Got 3 calls from "work-save-reitre" today.  Two rings and then hang up. Very annoying. I did look up called them back and asked to have my number removed from their list.

Same here, just received a call from them, a guy named Bob Jones, how common is that? The script repeated the message twice with the same info. They got my resume offline and wanted me to call. I am glad I investigated first (I always do). I will not be returning this call.

Let me assure all here that this company is, in fact, a SCAM. They are NOT recruiters!

Here is the deal: These folks use their "career services" as a front in order to get a financial product salesperson in their "clients" front door to pitch them various annuity plans.  In order to access their "career tools", you must agree to this meeting.

What does a job seeker get in return?: A thirty minute webinar,  access to a very limited board of job postings, and some additional tools and "services" that are very generic and generally available elsewhere. One month later, and after my annuity sales meeting, I am still waiting for a phone call and my personalized job referrals. I won't hold my breath.

This outfit is a joke that takes advantage of today's lousy employment environment to sell their products. This is a sales company NOT a career service. Don't waste your time with Heather and her crew.

I will be rolling-over my wife's 401K into an IRA next month, probably into an indexed annuity, and I can assure you that this $140K will not go into one of this company's products.

I will be filing a complaint with the BBB in the morning.

we're on dnc lists - why r they calling??

Three calls (frequency weekly) from "Sarah" regarding an "unresolved personal business matter" and urgently requesting a call back. No company identification, no details on the business matter. Legitimate businesses, including debt collectors, clearly identify themselves, and also clearly identify the party requested to be contacted, and the nature of the matter. There was no identification of any sort. Never calling the number back. Recommend you do the same.
