I received a text from this number full of vulgar language and hate against what seems to be gays and uses the Lord's name to justify this message about a sick gay rapist. The message was long and I tried to piece it together. It was just a mean hatred vulgar message. I have no idea who this person can be but hope i find out.

I'm a Realtor and i received a call from this number as if they were interested in a house. Then on last night i started getting vulgar messages with bible scriptures.. This person also tried to date me and they said there were in White Hall, AR due to business but i know they were all lies and also I googled the number and it is a Trac Phone that could be purchased at any store.

I am from White Hall, AR and I, too, received a text several days ago from this number with obscene language and a lot of Bible verses bashing the gay lifestyle. I replied asking who it was and never heard from them again. Today, tho, my 10 year old son received about 10 messages all at once on his phone referring to an annual local church play in the Pine Bluff, AR area (My son and I attended the play last night) about how wrong it was, and how God will get them for telling lies, and a lot of ranting about that. Again using vulgar, nasty language, MIS-quoting Bible verses, quoting scripture trying to back his rantings. The whole text message was nothing but filthy language!  I did send a text telling this person to stop sending these messages and that I did not appreciate them being sent to my sons phone...but no reply. I also tried to call, but there is no voicemail set up. Before I deleted the messages from his phone, I copied them and had them all sent to my email so I can prove what all was said.I have an app on my phone that is supposed to help you find the owners of phone numbers, but all I got was that it was an AT&T phone number. There will be a police officer at my house tomorrow afternoon to take a report and to pursue this issue. It was one thing to send it to me because I thought it was mistakenly sent to me, but to send that mess to MY child is where I draw the line! Especially talking about somewhere and something that we were at! I'm very mad about it, but also quite freaked out at the same time. Is he just targeting random numbers or is he getting our numbers from somewhere????

You might also want to contact your phone service provider and file a complaint after you talk with the local PD. They may be able to block this number from contacting you again.  Some of the phones have call blocking now, others you can download apps for free for blocking numbers.

Received an endless text rant this evening, went on for 10 entries, filthy language, apparently ranting against gays, citing the scripture very badly.  The number appeared as 870-502-9727

No, they were not using vulgar language in the play. The person texting me from 870-502-9727 was using vulgar language and profanity about the play.

Just curious......where are y'all from? If he is saying he is from White Hall, AR on business then I am wondering if he is targeting people from this area?

BUT DO YOU HAVE A BUSINESS WHERE YOUR NUMBER IS PRINTED ON SOMETHING. HE GOT MY NUMBER FROM THE HOMES MAGAZINE. IM JUST TRYING TO GET AN IDEA OF THE TYPE OF PEOPLE HE IS TARGETING. SO YOU THINK HE WAS AT THAT PLAY.

I am a Plexus Ambassador and do have a vinyl logo on my car with my number. But my 10 year old sons number isn't listed anywhere.

My son just got 15 more messages from the same number. Police were notified. Report filed. I'm sick of this!!!

I have a text from him also so weird. At least I now know I'm not the only one. Can any one describe his race or age by any chance?

He's a black male that sounds like he in his maybe mid 50's...He originally called me about purchasing a home now he just sends these text messages about God and all that.

Just got more messages. This time it was 13 messages to my sons phone and included a lot of the same stuff about the play at the church. I called and left a voicemail telling him that I knew who he was and that I would press charges against him. I told him that I am a Christian and May God have mercy on his soul on judgement day for the lies he is spreading about God! I'm sick of it!!!! It will go a few weeks and we don't hear from him and then all of a sudden he starts all over again!

Have you filed any complaints with your phone service provider?  If not, do so!  He has no business calling minors phones at all. You might want to call the local LE and file reports on him also!  The phone service provider should be able to block him from contact.
