Called from person who claimed to be from a prize company. Caller claimed he was in Las Vegas but the Area Code says Jamaica. Caller identified himself as James Watson with the address of 303 Church St., Las Vegas, Nevada, 75820. Address does not exist. Zip Code is fake. Called local police and they told me they could not help, laughed at me for attempting to catch the scammer and told me to just hang up. Called the Las Vegas police with similar results except for the laughter. In both cases they said it was out of their jurisdiction and suggested that if I were serious I would throw money at them (read "accept being scammed") and then pursue them through international courts. I'm contacting the FBI and CIA next.
