- DavidSomeone called claiming to be from the IRS. He said if I do not pay $100 today, the IRS will seize my home and car for non payment of taxes. I asked him for his IRS ID number, and he said he does not have time for that. I asked what tax did I owe? He said, "One minute, let me look at my computer". He then said it's tax on your mortgage. There is no such thing. I then asked him "Where are you calling from?" He said, "One minute. (somewhere), Texas".
Playing along, I said, "How should I make out the check?" He said make it out to Simon Oliver. I guess Simon Oliver is now running the IRS, and all the money goes to him.
He did call back several times (4 I believe), and with each call became more aggravated. Looks like he finally stopped.- Caller: IRS

- MarieI could hardly understand him, and I couldn't understand his name. He said I owe money and need to call him back immediately to discuss this. He has called several times (5/6 I think) and left 3 or 4 voicemails. It is scaring and irritating me. I hope and think this was a prank call

- KathyThis idiot called me stating that I won (2) 5-million dollars checks from the prize company (?). All I need to do is Western Union $300.00 to an account in West Indies and they will be able to deliver my prize within a couple of hours. He stated that the prize company is very rich and they have private jets and can fly to my home within a couple of hours to deliver. I pretended to transfer the money and he called me at least 100 times to have me transfer again. He stated that he is in my city at a hotel and that he will tell the jet to wait so that he can deliver my prize because he really wants me to have it. I told him I did not have any more $$ and he told me to try to ask someone for it. This is a shame that people will fall for this and this guy can sleep at night after scamming people out of anything they have. I hope this scumbag gets what's coming to him soon.

- AnnI received a call from this number around 9:53. He stated that he was someone named Mike and that I was very much in love with him. He then went on to say that he has this friend that he owes money to and asked if I would send him money to help him out. I played along and asked for his name again and he gave me the name of Robert London he stated that I had called him a few days ago and left him a message at a different number. I asked him why he was calling me from a different number and he stated that I just needed to start calling him at the number he was calling me from now. I told him I was not sending him any money because I did not know who he was. I asked him what his name was again and he then stated he would need to call me back. He called back and I again asked for his name, he gave me Robert London again. I told him that I didn't know him, he then said that that was the name of the friend that is going to hurt him if he did'nt get the money. I asked him again, what was his name and he said David. I tired of the game so I told him that they should be careful who they make their phone calls to because I thought he had his scams mixed up and that I knew people in high places. I informed him I was turning this number and the information of this call over to the FBI and was no longer interested in playing his game any longer and disconnected the call. So far I have not received another call from them.

http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0119-jam ... ng-us-consumers - Walter Josef"This is Michael. How are you? You won 10 million dollars" I told him: Keep it. The line had much echo, so I phoned back on the same number. He actually answered that number. " If I have $20,000 I can claim the price. There was more echo again, so I hung up.
