A guy calls and asks for the head of the household stating that he has a package.  When asked if this is a scam the caller goes on to verbally abuse the person who is receiving the call.

Yes. This is a SCAM!!  Caller says he has a package to deliver from FEDEX and when asked where the package is from replies Pulisher's Clearing House.  Reported to police and they verified it's coming from Jamaica.

caller (very muffeled/heavy accent(?) gave a name of David Moore...had to listen 4-6 times to make out most of the msg...something about $12k

I had call asking me to phone this number 876-280-3648.  He said I had won $5.5 million.  

In the same week I had two similar calls:
1. asking me to call back 1-800-495-1552 an "Officer Conley Jenkins" from FTC.  This one said I had won $625,000.
and
2. supposedly from Winners International at 702-765-4454.  This was from Robert Reed and when I phoned back the phone was answered "Bank of America".

All appeared to be scams.

We have been getting calls from a man saying he is with Security and that my husband has won
Publisher Clearing House for $600,000. and wants him to send 12k for securing the safe delivery of
the money he called from 1-800-495-1552 Officer, Conley Jenkins, the number doesn't come up on my phone it just says out of area.  He also gave 1-800-783-6518 and 702-505-9014 as numbers to call, the
last one is in Nevada, but I can't find out who it is.
