- 2Smart4ScammersReceived a call from this number, could hardly understand the guy's thick accent but he said he was from a firm in TX and I had won 2nd prize, yada, yada, yada. The caller ID showed up as "Jamaica." I asked to be removed from his list and he said OK, but then called back about 15 times in a row. I just kept hitting the "ignore" button. Definitely a scam.

https://800notes.com/AreaCode.aspx/1-876 - PaulHis name was David Senick, said he had spoken to me the previous day about my winnings. Never spoke to such person. Claimed he was from Texas, but caller ID said Jamaica. Told him I don't want any winning and please remove me from your calling list and hung up. Have yet to hear back.
- BrewDidn't answer and they left no message. Jamaica has advanced to telephones? That's almost an oxymoron.
Next time they call I will answer" Publisher's" - Billjust had a 20 minute conversation with the guy explaining that i needed to verify the call wasn't some scam.... like has been reported here, he tells me he's from Home and Garden Foundation and that each month winners are selected. i won 280k and a SUV. did i want to accept or donate the prize. then the request for full name and address... i frustrated the guy by constantly talking about protecting myself from scumbag scammers that would steal my identity or hard earned assets.
- Otter| 2 repliesThis guy called me saying he was from Home and Garden Foundation network Company in Morgan City, La and that I had won 225K and an suv and asked me a bunch of questions and stuff. Said I would need to purchase a green dot money pack paper card from walmart to receive my "prize" and said it was $250 bucks. I told him thats ridiculous to have to pay for a so-called prize. I frustrated him as well asking all kinds of questions, i even looked up the business he told me while i was still on the phone and then told him i couldnt find it on the internet. He claimed thats because they are "unpublished" because they deal with such large sums of money. I brought up that even publishers clearing house can be found online, he just hurried past that and tried to get my address and I told him I wasn't comfortable giving him info about myself and that if I won something there are ways to get my address and whatnot. He also asked earlier on in the convo how old I am, which is 25 and he said "So you are basically young." I also told him I didnt have $250 to throw away on b.s. He asked if I wanted to donate my "prize" to charity then and I told him yea if I have to pay to get it go ahead and give it to the next victim. He said his name was Michael Simth (not smith)...MAJOR SCAM.

- Caller: Home and Garden Foundation
- KatrinaSaid his name was Michael Miller from Home and Garden Club. Told me I won a Honda Civic and $200,000, but I had to go to Wal-Mart and buy a Green dot money card and load it with $200 for my part of the taxes.
He said he would pick it up from me and reimburse me with cash when he gets to my place with my new car and cashiers check.
Wow people will come up with anything these days! - AndyThese guys are tenacious. I bet he has called me about 15 times in a row. I received the call that stated he was from Publishers Clearing House and that I had won a Mercedes and cash. I never could quite understand how much the cash was. Anyhow, when I proceeded to inform him that I had not entered into any contest he start spouting off a string of companies that I did not recognize. Anyhow, I told him that I would get the card (I figured if he was going to waste my time, I would waste some of his) and that I would call him back shortly if he provided me with a callback number. He told me to call 1-876-285-1635. I called him back and told him I had the card in my hand, and if they wanted the numbers, someone would have to come meet me. After a talk of I need to trust him, he would never do anything with the card, he has been doing this for a while and understands how I feel blah, blah blah. I told him I had fun playing the game and stop calling me. As of this moment, he is still trying to contact me.
- Caller: Publishers Clearing House (Not)
- AnonymousA David Senick (or Renick) has been calling my house for several months. The number is 876-284-2819 I have asked on several occasions to stop calling. It comes up on caller ID as Jamaica but the guy is from Texas (supposedly). This is a fraud and we are not going to purchase anything to claim any prize. He called again a few minutes ago and when I said I have asked not to call my number his response was: "what's your problem, [***]?" I said "excuse me" and he repeated the same sentence then said "F--- you". I have reported to my phone company to block the number, they will report to local authorities and will report to BBB and FTC. Everyone needs to report this!
