The person called and sounded drunk or out of it.  He stated that he was Mr. John Carter and with a company called Winners International Payout Luxury Service.  First he asked for a person that I was not familiar with, so I told him he had the wrong number.  He then started rambling and telling me about some winnings or something, couldn't really understand, he was slurring heavily, so, I informed him I was not interested and to please remove my number.  He slurred something and I ask how he go my number and what company he was with and what was the number there.  He gave me his name, we went over the name of the company for some time, couldn’t understand, he also had a heavy accent.  I asked again how he got my number, if someone gave it to him.  He stated something about all the receipts from Wal-Mart and other stores are collected and put in to a main database that was how he got his list.  I asked again to be removed and he started on why did I ask him all those questions about his company if I wasn't interested, I responded that I liked to keep records and he started saying that he understood because he could see I was rich and had a lot of money and that he was watching me and saw me on the Internet and knew everything about me and what I was doing.  At that time I put my husband on and they started arguing while I tried to dial the, what I thought was a company to speak to a supervisor, and the guy hung up with my husband and answered my call.  I hung up; knowing that me calling from my cell was the worst thing to do, then he started calling my cell.  I didn't answer, my husband tried to call back and he wouldn't answer, so hopefully some drunk person calling, but really disturbing and not sure if it was a prank, scam or someone to watch out for who now has my cell number.

I received a call from a man with a foriegn accent claiming I had won  3.5 million dollars. I had a hard time understanding him but he wanted me to go to the Walmart pharmacy-- the said I would have to buy a cadrd for $350.00, but would be reimbursed and get a new Mercedes Benz as well as the money. All I had to do is call 1-876-286-8472 and gave me a claim number-7754101353. He also mentioned something about green dot money tack search--- whatever that is?

It is a scam, called an advance fee scam.
They claim you won something, but must first send them money to cover "fees".
They want the money in non-refundable money transfers like Western Union or WalMart's Green Dot (Walmart's version of a wire transfer service).
You pay the fees and never get any "winnings" and the money your spent on the "fees" is lost forever.
