Just received a call from man claiming to be a supervisor from UPS in Adams, MA and claiming I won a vast amount of money and a BMW from Global Goldrush Sweepstakes.  Had my full address (less the unit #).  Gave me a tracking # and said delivery of both were on the way (at 3:30pm on a Saturday???)   The only thing I needed to do was get a Federal I.D. document from WalMart or CVS which I said I would not do.  In which case he said they were prepared to have paperwork I could sign before delivery would be complete.  He was pushing me to agree to accept delivery. He spoke with a foreign (could be East Indian or Indonesia accent) and was very adament about this being a real delivery and that I indeed had WON what he stated.  when I wanted to know why HE know the amount of the "certified check" he said the source gave him the information in a letter so that UPS could handle the delivery (it seems, the BMW is on the truck along with the check!!)

Finally, after about 15 minutes of this nonsense, I asked for a telephone to call back.  Before calling the number I searched for it on Internet and the above posting appeared.  I did not make the call.

Dude, what's your problem? This 876 stuff really seems to push your buttons. I'd see a therapist about that if I were you before your blood pressure gets completely out of control. Just drop it - some people don't live online on this website like you seem to do. "EVERYONE" obviously doesn't know about them or no one would still be posting about them! Now do what the admins asked in the etiquette message and be nice.

A few facts about the stinkers calling from Jamaica.....

The FBI doesn't deliver "Money" or pizzas...
    UPS doesn't call customers.....
Areacode 876 is on the Mossell Cellular system in Kingston, Jamaica...
What you had on the end of that line was a dirty, black "Chimpanzee" dressed in filthy shorts and a ripped up wifebeater shirt. He was sitting in a small leanto with chickens/roosters running around (you can usually HEAR them in the background). His "Computer" was a "Etch-A-Scetch" that he was looking up your info on.
They DO use "MagicJacks" registered so they LOOK like they are in 702 (vegas) 775(reno) 305(florida) 256(alabama) and a few others....

OK, FOLKS, LISTEN UP!  I had a call a few minutes ago, allegedly from Publisher's Clearing House, claiming that I had won the One Million Dollar Sweepstakes.  I told the guy (with a foreign accent) that I did not believe him and what did I have to do.  "Pay $5,000."  I told him, "PUBLISHER'S CLEARING HOUSE DOES NOT REQUIRE A PAYMENT; YOU ARE A SCAM AND I AM REPORTING THIS NUMBER TO THE AG'S OFFICE."  PEOPLE BEWARE!!!!! 875-290-2776

A lot of elderly people fall for these scams and since I am 71, guess they targeted me.  I have been a legal secretary for most of my life, so I don't fall for this stuff.
